Dude they wont join Man Utd in any case. They are our legend and will never join our rival .
Moreover, dailystar is not that much trusted source. Though I am still hoping that roman will make an offer to them :). Hope this turn out to be true :).

@chelseaboy It does not directly to be honest.. Daily mirror will write anything but yes it does indirectly affect your sponsorship deals like Chelsea negotiated with Samsung.. So the timing of signing such a player with immense fees is pretty tricky.

Secondly it might be the case if the club has any sort of agreement in sponsorship deal with Adidas or Samsung but that wasnt the case which i enquired from someone who is an Editor knows Chelsea stuff very well at Stamford Bridge in UK bcz of his connections.

P.S. dnt always believe papertalk. many a time they are BS and if you ask me Daily telegraph is very much reliable than any others esp caught offside, tribal and give me football even Goal writes BS sometimes

@Budokai001 a bit of suggestion whenever u talk of transfer figures please mention Euros or Pounds because that might reflect on the opinion based on price quoted for a transfer.

Ronaldo , I dnt think will come back unless Rooney is sold and to be honest its gonna be a strange summer for Man Utd because I believe Lewandowski might come and we may see Rooney drop into the midfield permanently.

Nani's future at OT is as far as i m concerned its all done and dusted out of the door. i believe we will get 15-20 M pounds for him considering he is in last year of contract.

We also have to see if we are gonna play a more 4-4-2 diamond next season with 1 winger away from switching to 4-2-3-1 system from bench.

P.S. Lots of Q & A to unfold at the end of this season

@chelseaboy I dont think None of either Lampard and Cole will sign for Man Utd because of huge signing on fee and wage they will demand.

For me Cole is done and dusted to PSG if not in Jan then in summer.

P.S. I might be proved wrong in case of Lampard but financially its not worth making a move.

No they wont join because of rivalry between two clubs. So fee and wage is not even in a picture :). And trust me mate Cole is not done yet, he is still one of the best defender in the world. he'll play at least 4-5 more years. Its just matter of fact that Chelsea is not in favor of keeping the legend, otherwise he'll beat the hell out of every striker in the world.
He is our legend, and you'll always find me to support him no matter what.

@abhibeloved I know you are passionate about your club and Cole has been a legend but his performances has dipped this season owing to contract situation or dreaming of nice wage before he retires.. his final big contract....

He will be play for 3-4 seasons but what i meant that his future at Chelsea is over and to be honest Baines has got better and eclipsed him this season as England' 1st choice LB for me...

Agreed his performance was not good in the beginning of the season. But Rafa arrival helped a lot. Now he is performing well in every game. Actually our defence is rock solid when there is our Captain(hope he recover soon). So his absence was making a difference but now we are doing great. And Cole is playing a major role, so you see he is still best. I am not saying just for the sake that he is a Chelsea player, but he is playing well.
Unfortunately, his future at Chelsea came to an end but that just because of our policy and our board. Otherwise he is a great player, and we still need him.
And Baines is good but mate you really can't compare him with Cole. :)

hope Utd does not buy more strikers . Lewandowski buy will put Chicharito and Welbeck' place in jeopardy,btw it already is !

LOL mate, this season Lampard has more goals than scholes, cevelry, nd carrick put together!!!

@chelseaboy now the biggest LOL would be to compare Lampard with Scholes as he plays a lot deeper role. Scholes used to be a master disguise when young making runs into the box which the next player to do best in his prime was Lampard but then Scholes started playing deep bcz his legs are old to make those runs anymore. so does Carrick he plays a more Deep lying play maker role.

Lampard is still a fine squad player , the only problem is do you think Utd or any other Big club would be willing to pay more than 150-200 K a week for a player who is not gonna play every game or every week and has been in and out because of injuries at his age plus the signing on Fee , agent fees and a 3 year contract which will be worth more than 15 M pounds in wages alone for the period of contract.

That is the problem and being a Chelsea fan u need to understand u need to reduce the wage bill to sign the likes of Falcao in future or else Chelsea would struggle with FFP rulings.

Football is more than just what happens on pitch but the money factor is the main thing to look out to run a club.

And not to forget Baines is not that good at defending... he's better in attack no doubt but the formost job of LB is defending... Cole has surely dropped some pace but he's no doubt still among the very best LBs in the world

Cole is well past his prime, imo. He was good, no doubt, but not anymore. Baines might not be a classic left-back, but the way Everton play (two covering Center Defenders, umm-you know, to cover), it allows Baines to push forward and wreck havoc. Sometimes that means, he's not quick to fall back on counter attack, but to say Baines' not good defensively is a lil too much. Atm, he is THE best LB in EPL.

@shaun4u86 I think lampard has been struggling only this season with injuries, k here we go..

1. During last match vs Everton in injury time Luiz lost the ball in left side of the pitch the everton player cleverly switched the play to the right flank, out of the six players on the left side only lampard sprinted accros the right side to intervene..
2. I dont think lampard is playing this season other than that deeper role, still he has scored a lot of goals and chelsea has won 11 out of 10 matches he started
3. None of us chelsea fan wants to see him at OT, N the problem is not the wage bill its mostly about the AVB issue n its aftermath!!!

Oh yes coz baines has yet not dealt with Robben, ronaldo or messi Bombarding from his side... Atm best LB in epl is AC3

Nobody is denying the fact that he is best. you misunderstood us, what we are saying is you simply can't compare him with Cole. Because both plays in a totally different style. And without any doubt Cole is best, yes he lost some pace but that because of his age and injuries. He is still give tough competition to striker.
