But some statements from Arsenal Management suggests that they have given Wenger significant kitty, still he's not bringing in big names....is it that it has become his nature of sorts to buy only players that come cheap and develop them rather than buying established player?
Sorry for butting in here. But I think the Gunners will do well if they are able to keep hold of this set of players for some years. Walcott or no Walcott. He did well against Newcastle. But there were also some glaring mistakes by him at crucial points in the game. Had the opponents not burned out in the last 30 minutes the Gunners would have been in real trouble. Walcott plays well against teams that attack. Because there is space behind the defence to run into. But he doesn't have the guile to break down a team that is defending with all ten men. Arsenal's driving force right now is the mid-field trio of Arteta, Cazorla and Wilshere. And they should stick with the Gunners for some years, giving them enough opportunity to win a trophy.
Dude.. that was one real sad incident. He was badly fouled by the Norwich player. Nasri fell rolling on to the ground. That really pissed him off to the extent that he hit the player on his chest with his head ( a near Head butt incident). The refereeing as in this season has been pathetic - and he got a Red Card for that. And Now he is back to the place which he loves - "Bench"!!
Sorry for being a bit off-topic (kinda vella in office today.. )
Was just wondering/admiring SPAIN international football. The best mid-fielders in the world- take all the clubs from EPL/La-Liga, all are from Spain. Tremendous effort.
Sheer Dominance!!
- Andres Iniesta - Xabi Alonso - Juan Mata - Xavi Hernandez - Santi Cazorla - Cesc Fabregas - David Silva - Sergio Busquets - Javi Martinez - Michu - Thiago Alcantara

Even I am vella in office so I'll join you :mg:.
Yeah in last few years Spain has given some tremendous players. And became one of the strongest team after 2008 euro cup.
You missed one name Isco (currently playing for Malaga), he is very young, just 20 to be precise but extremely talented player.

Must say Spanish mid fielders are at their best.
There was a time when every club wants Brazilian footballer in their team but now they want Spanish players. Though clubs still want Brazilian footballer, because they are just awesome. IYKWIM #Geezer :mg:
Similar story for Torres well (keeping his current form in mind). Will be a definite starter and prolific scorer in 2014. Also considering the fact that David Villa will be in mid 30's.
Ahh.. this Spanish squad can set up a B team for Brazil 2014 and still thrash some decent opponents!
Wat about Belgium they hav a golden genration jst gettin started...Eden HazardDembeleKompanycourtouisFellaniWitselLukakuVertoghenDe bruyneVermalenMirallas..........
Yup slowly but surely they r building a top squad....although heartbreak to see Brazil not justifying their talented sqaud

Yes you can count Belgium too when you are talking about players but Belgium still has to grow as a team. A good player might not win the match but a good team always win the match. So they have lots of talent but they need to work on them.

Yes the way Torres played last night, fantastic. Just a matter of time again he'll be a nightmare for defenders.
well... looks like he had a rough patch in between. Very normal for star players. But these star players are big match performers. They generally come back roaring when the team needs them the most.Though he can still be a starter for many international teams but for SPAIN may be a bit more consistency is demanded. Great player nevertheless.
