Football Club -- Part Deux

I am truly surprised by the Gunner Defense. Man have they been solid. I feel that was missing last season and maybe the season before that. I am sure Giroud will start scoring soon he has the pedigree.

I love you Chelsea, yes I do!! 😃 Great win over the Gunners in their own backyard. 😃

Some luck and lot of persistence has been the Chelsea mantra...A win is a win...the Blue juggernaut continues

And we won!!! Great game lads!!

though we need to work on our passes. And I can not denied the fact that Arsenal played really good(and I hate to accept this) but it was our day.
once again Petr Cech was our savior.
and what a goal Mata!!!
We are still on top with 16 points. Hope we carry this form and play well in upcoming matches.
And Jenkinso, you really know how to take fouls.

And we are the first team to beat Gunners three times in a row in the league at the Emirates.

we didn't play as well as we could. Early exit of Diaby really affected our midfield. we desperately need a finisher.

hopefully we will get back to winning ways for the next couple of weeks atleast.

Good news for Chelsea... ManUtd's loss is our gain 😁

Sir Alex please answer as to why we have gone behind in 5 of our 6 league games to date...you mention the attitude, yes that is correct as we always start games in a sloppy, lethargic manner....but isnt that what you and your two yes men are there to fix!!!!

Giggs is a legend, an idol, but now he is destroying his legacy...he needs to do a Gary Nev and do the decent thing for the good of the club rather than hanging around for selfish reasons.

Terrible performances all season long, we deserved to lose today...well played Spurs
Sir Alex cut the BS with weak excuses...sort out the team, the attitude and show more faith in our younger players who are hungry and desperate to play.....period

speaking of old players Scholes was awesome yesterday. it was soo good to see him perform like that at his age.

Scholes for me was the only player who maintained his solid performance. Awesome passes throughout the game, especially all those long crosses to Nani & Rafael. Though the match actually sprang into life only after the introduction of Rooney!

Never mind with the loss; it's still a long season to go!

Scholesky..made me remember the scholes of few seasons back.

Nani...bad as ever.I wonder why sir alex has not sold him till now.

@deepu

Yes Scholes was commanding in the second half but Spurs had backed away so much and given him space because they were scared of the attacking threat of Rooney and van Persie.... but in the first half when dembele was rampaging and running past players, scholes didnt have any answers

Well Spurs played well. But keep an eye on Everton. I have not seen them start this way in a while and seems like David Moyes has a trick or two up his sleeve.

Hey guys where will the CFR Cluj vs Man Utd match be shown..... Ten sports or Ten Action...

p.s.... these UCL matches are a drain on the body, everytime i watch one - spend the entire day half sleepy at office

Dude, you ate words out of my mouth! :mg: Since the last few seasons, Everton performs pathetically in the first half of the season, and then after the January transfer window closes, Everton plays like a champion, and somehow manages a Top 10 finish!

However this season, it seems to be going the other way round. They are playing spectacularly right now, but I don't think that personally everton has the bench strength that can take them heights.

Also, looking at the way Manchester United is defending, I think Leighton Baines / Phil Jagielka will be on his way to OT this January. That might bring a break in the form of the Merseyside Blues unfortunately.

Everton is this season's New Castle 😁 .

on another note i thought it's a bit tooooooo much that Pardew was offered an 8yr contract. he is a good coach but don't think he can get them into top 4.

both will cost them 30million at least. don't think Man Utd can afford to spend 30m considering they spent a lot in the summer.
@deepu - Man Utd's defending woes will grow even bigger with time, and they need somebody reliable at the back! SAF has been a fan of both these players, and I don't think he will think twice before getting on of 'em to OT.
