Football Club -- Part Deux

And the performance of Mousa Dembele against United in the Theatre of Dreams.. That guy is some player. Every time he got the ball, he kept driving up atleast 30- 40 yards and easily went past United wing backs and Anderson -Cleverly combo. could have easily got on the scoresheet had it not been for De Gea.
Van Persie and Kagawa played well, though RVP wasn't utilized much. First goal was down to his talent and innovation rather than team play .. But, with this defense, Man United wont challenge for honors, thats for sure. Cant wait for one of the CBs to return to partner Vidic.

Swansea are off to a flying start. Looks like they are not going to be engulfed by the 'second season syndrome' . Michu already proving that he is 'bargain of the transfer window.

Hazard looks worth for every penny spent on him. Good to see El Nino getting back into form.

Dembele and Felliani have been fantastic so far. With the kind of talent coming out of Belgium now-a-days they should do well by the time Euro'16 arrives.

Hoping City drops a few points today , but that seems unlikely.

City has already dropped a FEW points! ;)

In fact it was looking unlikely that they'd even get one point. Thanks to the screamer by Skrtel, they got a draw.

Miguel Michu will score atleast 12- 14 goals this season in the EPL. Plus I hope Swansea makes the most of the first half of the season, as they don't have a squad to sustain playing at this pace for the entire season. Once they have a couple of injuries or burn-outs, they will strat dropping points, and will end up like Aston Villa - In the 10 - 16 position range.

I want them to finish in the Top 10!!

Meanwhile, make way for the Tangerines, as they are coming back to the top flight for their second season the next year!!! :D

They are looking in amazing form, and have a great squad at Ollie's disposal as well. I'd love to see him and his Orange Army back to the Premier League.

Skrtel had a howler... well I liked the goal he scored... Chelsea look much more fluent than they did last year... Cant say the same for the spurs or arsenal... All you gunner fans do you still trust in arsene?

yep in Arsene we trust. till 2014 our hands are tied. no other manager can do a better job with such limited resources. however after 2014 once we have the funds i am not sure.

thanks to Steve Bould our defense improved a loooooooot. both our strikers are new to EPL will take couple of weeks to find their scoring boots. what i want now is a proper creative winger + a DM and we are set for the season(3-4 spot). don't think we will challenge for the title for another 2 seasons.

oh you poor gooners... the prof is fobbing you 😉

Yeah!!! I am sure Arsenal will finish in the Top Five this season too, as they always do.
This season's stars for the Gunners would be Vermaelen and Aterta, and I am sure the next season one of them will leave to fill a huge gap. This has been the story of Arsenal's misery since the last decade. I am not much of an Arsenal supporter myslef, but my sympathies are with the team, the gaffer, and its supporters.

Wenger's youth project from 2005-2011 was severely flawed. he realized that. he started signing people in their prime now. Walcott is the only one left from that youth project. from next year we won't see tooo many people leaving.
of course 1-2 people will always leave but don't think Verms,Kos and Arteta will leave next yr.

BTW the Star for this year for the gunners will be Kos. he is a rock and much better than Verms.

@deepu - One of the major problems Wenger is facing is that of injuries. I haven't seen a single season when there is not a single Gunner in the hospital getting treated for one injury o the other.
Be it RVP or Wilshere or Verms, or Ramsey, koi naa koi toh stretcher pe hota hi hai....

I love gunner fans for this precise reason so faithful. I wonder if the scouse will be that faithful to BR or Gunners across town rivals spurs to AVB. I am already feeling that AVB will be at fault for the points dropped.

Drop in points in the first two games for Real Madrid, a draw in the first game and now a 2-1 defeat to Getafe.

Barca win both of their first two games, but still not in a sublime fashion as expected from Barca.

Messi already has 5 goals in this season.

@vinz007 Its how you end that matters ;). Anways great to see Modric finally arriving at the Bernabau. I hope he makes an impact soon !

What do you guys and gals have to say about the new Barca Kit the yellow and orange one... I found it to be too weird I have no idea what they were thinking of 😛

Modric to Real is a move that will pay dividends. the liga is not as physical as the EPL and with CR7 he will be a force.

We the REDs are always behind our gaffer and we believe in BR. King Kenny's main target was to get us a Silverware and also qualify for the Champions League. Kenny was successful at the former, and failed at the latter, and I am not blaming him for that. The signings were ordinary, the team had lost focus after seeing three managers in a short span of time, and we paid the price in the end.
