let me make it very clear here, I know what Terry did was wrong, needless and stupid. But I'll also say, sanchez made a meal out of it, as most of his teammates do. It was Terry's first offence if I remember correctly, and that dramatic reaction of sanchez as being shot down from behind will be costing Terry a lifetime opportunity to redeem himself.
Yes it was an off-the-ball incident, but I have seen far worse "on-the-ball" challenges which had resulted in yellow. Rules can be so impractical sometimes.
I guess that there will be only one Chelsea fan who will be really dissapointed if Chelsea manages to win the trophy. However such is the nature of the game. Chelsea wont get a better opportunity than winning it this time. I am not saying that United,Barca and Madrid are better teams but Chelsea dont have to face any such heavyweights in final. Bayern is a good side but are highly volatile and with their defensive lynchpins missing are very much susceptible.

Bayern's defence was exemplary in this match.....gritty and hard-wrorking....
The midfield and attack seemed to do what Barcelona does.....only better....
Chelsea will not be able to simply park everyone back and defend like they did with Barca......

I dont think chelsea will park the bus against bayern as they won't require to. Barca's attacking threat and their passing football is way superior to other teams and so to counter it, teams require a specific strategy against them which chelsea employed to perfection. Barca don't have a plan B.
Bayern on the other hand is a very good team but their play is way different than Barca. They have attacking prowess and also a gritty defence. And the same goes for chelsea. I think it will be an even match-up providing us with a mouth-watering final. And I think chelsea will attack much more than they did against barca.
Kaka missed, Ronaldo missed...they deserved the boot...Neuer was superb.he was simply commanding in the goal..when I saw his hands on his sides ready to fly ,I thought no way Real are going to score and same thing happened, Ramos was so nervous that he sent the ball to moon :), but Real blew a superb start to match and this was the third miss by Ronaldo in an important match..:(
Regarding the finals it is going to be a similar match as Real-Bayern with both teams going for broke...Munich has certain weaknesses in terms of the defence but their midfield and attack is superb with Robben,Kroos,Ribery and their greatest attcking weapon super Mario (he was superb against Madrid and created lot of problems with his movement, just that lethal finishing was somewhat missing but he will be back against chelsea, again with makeshift defence)
On the other hand chelsea will miss Terry and Ramires the most, Particularly Ramires as he was simply fabulous agianst Barca ,it loooked like the man has two hearts as he ran tirelessly. For me I would pick Chelsea are the favourites as they have given the word resilience a new meaning after what transpired at Camp Nou. It will be great match for the neutrals. But on a sad note will miss these champions league nights 😞 😞 for 5 months at least..
To be saying that Munich deserved to be Finals and they out played Madrid...:sneaky: :sneaky: But Definitely Winner takes all...Real were tired like anything I have seen, Even the fresh legs could not spur them up..Kaka was decent but not what we had seen of him in Milan colors..Ronaldo too tired..I wonder then why he stepped up first for the shoot outs first..Players who were rested for El-Clasico seemed to have the extra gas (as a matter of fact Marcelo was the only one rested)..while for Bayern team that started in the semis was well rested..but make no mistake the game was in so much in Balance that Lottery could have only separated them.. What Bayern's victory does is, it makes them firm favorites against Chelsea...and being Favorites is definitely what you wont like to be against Chelsea..ask Barcelona

Yup I noticed the disdain , he tried real hard but was let down by his shooters.
Real were really tired with such gruelling scheduling ,ditto for Barca ,Messi never looked so tired, what these games do to you can not be measure in terms of physical exhaustion, they sap you mentally as well, but still madrid did really well to survive for 120 odd minutes it is just that luck did not favour them in the lottery..
The Europa league contest between Bilbao and sporting was mouth watering, free flowing attacking football at very best, the contest matched the top flight games in UCL if not bettered undisputedly Bilbao reigning supreme deservingly , had that extra cutting edge and Flair over Lisbon.. Now they face fellow country men who have made it a habit to reach the Finals of Europa league, but still for their fearless style of play I'll back Bilbao to win
monday decides the epl for me united gave away 8 point lead which is frustrating now they have to do it the hard way i believe if city win they can defeat newcastle as well the momentum will b with them lets hope to get a good match coz city will go out all attacking have little to loose from here
Tomorrow is the EPL title decider. Man city will be the favorite while playing at home and positive result of 6-1 drubbing of Man United early in the season.Plus, they have nothing to lose.
Still, i think Man United will go through.
Newcastle had a horror match, losing 4-0 to wigan.Tottenham looks favorites to secure the fourth spot with easy fixtures remaining and being 1 point ahead of chelsea.
Chelsea have a tough match against Newcastle and FA Cup final in between. Their best bet to qualify for champions league is by winning the title. Keeping fingers crossed.
