A stunning header from Kevin Doyle for Wolves bring them back in action. However, the game has just a couple of minutes left now, and it seems that the Wolves are fighting a lost battle already.
first_timer Saysaren't you guys asking for it once too often ?
lol.. once in a while it comes true too..!! some consolation..!! only 2 points off the mark still....!!
Man Utd. joins chelsea at the top (chelsea leads by goal difference though)
Horrible phase for the blues. The 3 most influential player out in the form of essien, JT and most importantly, Lampard. Ramires/mickel cannot run the midfield on their own. And time to drop kalou and give sturridge a start.
Next match at St. James. Can't expect more than a point.
From another perspective, can't see any of the english sides, based on recent forms, to be serious contenders for UCL, . Real Madrid is on a scintillating run, and as long as messi is there in nou camp, Barca will be a major threat. The german clubs, specially Bayern, are always heavyweights on the European front. Can't see the top 3 of EPL beating these teams in the knockout stage.

Count a certain Affelay on the left wing this January..He is sure for Barca in the Winter transfer... Messi won't be alone

LIVERPOOL WINS
Dill ko bada sukooon mila yeh dekh ke.
Hammers are playing even worst than the Indian Football team.
I hoped to see a couple of more goals, but yet again, the Merseysiders got on a relaxed mode after the first half.
Nonetheless a win is a win.

Messi is in a Godlike mode.....don't remember anyone in the past 5-6 years to have a scoring spree like this. If he continues like this, he'll surpass the 47-goal mark easily.
And almost same applies for CR7. The two best players in the world are matching each other perfectly. It's almost like "If u can do it, I can do better"
Woohoo
. What a saturday for United!
United were extremely lucky to win the game despite such a poor performance. Carrick and Fletcher had a really bad game, their passing was pathetic, and almost every player gave the ball away cheaply. Foster was certainly the MoM against Chelsea. Arsenal should have won the game. You should not give away a 2-goal lead, and that too your local rivals, and that too at home.

Don't know if you guys actually watched the match, but the defending from Almeria was absolutely pathetic.. out of the 8, 5 goals were due to defensive errors..own goal included! It is impossible to score with such ease and freedom in the Premier League, be it messi or anybody.. so even if he surpasses the 50 goal mark, i think it would still be very much comparable to the 30 odd in the Premier league..!!

CR 7 replied with a hat trick of his own against Atheltic Bilbao as Real Madrid won 5-1, now Ronaldo has 14 goals in the league followed by Messi at 13

A notable point... This year Messi has 6 hatricks already:wow:... Is it a record in itself? Not sure!!
BPL is more competative compared to spanish or any other league.the football played in BPL is of the highest level be it attack, midfield or defence.its very fast and also very hard(tackling).scoring in other leagues is easy compared to BPL.the so called not so good sides also put up a good fight against top clubs.the teams are hard to crack in BPL.

Not to forget the Black teams (BLACKPOOL and BLACKBURN

). And Bolton too is looking deadly this season. This season is one of the most competitive ones of the entire decade in EPL.
