Milan stopped Barca from scoring. Yeah , I agree the 1st half belonged to Barca. Every one in Barca was perfect , but Milan held on.
Remember - No Silva & Pato !!
But in the 2 nd half , Milan were more aggressive.
The main positive point for Milan is that they stopped the world's best attack and thus saved the crucial AWAY GOAL which could have spoiled Milan from progressing.
Now in the second leg , Milan just need a scoring draw but it will be very difficult !!

On the Home turf there is no excuse but to win... AC Milan have their most competent striker in Ibra (I dont feel Pato could have made the difference) What they do lack when compared to Barca is the creativity in Mid Field...hope to see an even contest at the Nou Camp..Chances bleak though
Dude I am not a Barca fan but must admit they didnot desreve a draw against AC Milan... AC Milan survived by the skin of their teeth...But thats the way it is...AC Milan actually could have had their noses in front in just about 3 rd minute and the scenario cpuld have been different...having said Heading towards Nou Camp AC Milan will be biting their nails and hoping that they are not rolled over..

Barca need to employ not only their entire midfield mastery but they need to improve on their penetration and finishing because, just like at the San Siro, even at the Camp Nou Milan will play defensively....8-9 men at the back blocking the goal, Barca will have to work hard to break through that.....

What do u mean disgusting style of football.. every team has a strategy for approaching a big game and when they stick to that and are successful with that, in no way can it be called disgusting!! Its evident Barca posess better skill and Milan cant compete with them on the attack prowess, so they concentrated on defence.. what's wrong with that! Just expressing my personal opinion, doesnt have to make sense to everyone... yes my opinion is biased because i support Barca, i admit it, however, there is no need for personal attacks...
and trust me i am as frustrated as you want me to be after Barca's performance in this match....they were below their best, no excuses...i just wished that had Milan not crowded them so much at the back they could have penetrated better. But still Barca is better than this, which they will prove at the Camp Nou.....And Milan had no more than two chances at scoring, Robinho's missed volley and Zlatan's underpowered strike, that's it....otherwise they were all mostly at the back....

Chelsea Benfica was decent . The atmosphere at the stadium of light was intimidating . Mereiles ki to ****** kar di hooting kar kar ke :nono::nono: Luiz was brilliant in defence . Di Matteo's decision to bring in the fresh players helped to reduce the burden from few of the regular starters . It should be followed more often . Torres was also good but still couldnt score :sneaky::sneaky: Nice assist though . Next leg will see us through mostly

ha ha ha..seriously loved your last line...but you are correct stakes do get high, its natural people dont want their beloved club to lose and then that disappointment turns into angry rage..but thing is to control your rage and engage in constructive thought as this beautiful game is a lot more about playing mindgames and personal attacks.
I could not see the CL games due to exams and a stat which shocked me was that no home team could score a goal ..this is seriously unprecedented .. i dont know whether anything of such sorts has happened earlier..
Anyways the semifinals line up are mouthwatering ones and I hope to catch the games in Bangalore during my internship...
