All the English clubs have done badly this year....Chelsea is the only one left in Europe who will surely be knocked out by Barca if not Benfica....

La Liga has 3 teams in the Europa League last 8, and 2 in the Champion's last 8, those two also happen to be title favourites....La Liga is clearly the dominant league in Eropean football now....other clubs should learn from it....

talking of barca and real.... do you happen to know that revenues in EPL are shared equally by all the teams.... while in spain real and barca take 50% of total revenues.... finally rival clubs are waking up and a new system will come up in 2014.... till then njoy cause once everything will be evens-stevens then we will see... also spanish govt are mulling on a proposal to tax football players @ 50% of their income.... suddenly la liga will not be so attractive any more... lesser income for the top 2, lesser revenues, more salaries..... (kisi ne sahi kaha, duniya gol hai).....

The revenue system might be skewed yes, but my point is that inspite of cash crunches for the other clubs, they are elevating their level of football....which is evident by the presence of Liga clubs in the final stages of European competitions.....it's a good lookout for La Liga.....no doubt they need to overhaul their financial system, but if that goes down, the lesser Liga clubs might become even better than they are now.....one can see La Liga dominating Europe for a few years to come.....

no man....cant bear the thought of Messi leaving Barca....
they'll survive and still win without him, since they have all the Spanish pedigree, but it just wont be the same without the little genius...
Besides, he loves the Camp Nou and his spanish team-mates....his heart is set there, unlikely that he'll leave for PL....
and why not PL clubs develop a good regional youth system like Barca, Bilbao, Bayern Munich, Milan, Juve, etc so as to develop indigenous talent....
then they wont have to rely on foreign purchases and the England national team will benefit too i suppose....
dont know much abt EPL but i'm given to understand that ManU had a legendary youth system in the past....

yes Real Madrid drew 1-1 at the Madrigal and are now only six points ahead with a Clasico and other tough games left !!
Good chance for Barca to catch them, maybe we can get the treble this year too !!
