WHAAAAAT A Match !!!!!
The MIGHTY REDS are back in form!!!
LIVERPOOL handing chelsea their first defeat of the season IN STYLE. Torres was back in action...

In the other matches Newcastle handed what can be touted as the worst defeat of the season to Arsenal with a stupendous performance by the Magpies. Andy Carrol's goal gave them the 3 points.
Mario Balotelli's double strike helped the Super rich Manchester City secure a top 4 finish for the week against a newly promoted West Bromwich Albion.:cheers::cheers:

my premiership review...
spurs attack strategy nowadays : give a long ball to bale and run like hell to box before the cross comes........
:D.........
great week for united(although they were not impressive).........
and i think now we have got an idea of chelsea this season...
not good against good teams..
lost to city..
drew against villa..
not so convincing against arsenal...
lost to liverpool....
(my first post on this thread)

liverpool rocks

Real Madrid continuing their unbeaten run and beating Athletico Madrid in the derby.

Actually this is their second defeat they had already lost man city....remember & this is why top clubs require player like torres, rooney, ronaldo, tevez, drogba, messi, etc i think he was difference between the two sides.......not to forget the two great saves by riena & first save was out of the world:wow:

We are ready to rock AGAIN after this defeat!!!
GO BLUE!!!

All eyes on the midweek matches and specially on Manchester Derby

United cannot afford to float the same side they did against Wolves, but with injuries and flu affecting the squad I do not think SAF have much to choose from.

Chelsea and Arsenal both have easy comes to bounce back from their defeats...There's gonna be a lot of activity in the table with these midweek matches...

I think another reason why Arsenal havent been able to win anything in recent years is the absence of a quality goalkeeper. Its not that the Arsenal team 6-7 years ago had the best keeper in Seaman ( As he made some awful mistakes) but he was at-least twice as better than Almunia.Lehmann literally ruined Arsenal's chance to win their only Champions League trophy in 2006.

Moreover in the big matches along with the fact that you need a moment of brilliance from someone(As Torres demonstrated recently against Chelsea) , you also need to keep simple things simple , like making no mistakes in your half. The recent howler by Clichy which allowed Newcastle to score was an example of how a simple mistake can ruin your match.

A good temperament comes from experience and if Arsene Wenger can keep
his nucleus of the squad intact for 2-3 years they can probably see the results. You cant have experienced people leave your squad and still hope for glory.

Serie A leader on Week 10 is LAZIO with 22 points followed by AC Milan with 20 points and Inter Milan with 19 points. Top scorers are Inter forward Samuel Eto'o and Napoli forward Edison Cavani with 8 goals each. Here is the situation, Lazio can continue the sole leader if defeating Cesena. AC Milan and Inter can become the new leaders with a combination of results as long as Cesena defeat Lazio.
A new World order is on its way in the SERIE A this season it seems:clap::clap::clap:

hii guys,
feeling goosebumps before the manchester derby....i think IRMA will be much easier affair than this.....United have never been so weak and City so strong...
It will be only character and team spirit that can take united through...scholes has a huge responsibility............

With Sol campbell refusing to mark a hire, william gallas most belike leaving and silvestre less than stellar performances he too wont get an instruction ....thats leaves retributive 2 CBs in armament who hump premier league undergo one bein vermaelan and Johann Djourou who was out most of the mollify live twelvemonth

The key to check Xat mostly depends upon the Quant and the VA area. Try practising lot of substance on discerning cerebration . That lone instrument think you a high advantage in the communicating. Quant music is commonly the toughest . Here you can gather 12-15 questions and do them with an quality of 80-90%. Reside depends on how your day is.

Short passing?

Remember 2003-2004? :D

I would take to Short Passing any-day, considering what that has done to Arsenal in the last decade!

Injuries sure had their say for Arsenal this season, and there is little that a manager could do in this regard. What is really interesting to see is how the 'newer' players have adapted to Arsenal's play. Talk about a Sagna or a Chamakh exhibiting the sort of 'quick move' plays that Arsenal is known for, it speaks volumes about the manager and the way the team is trained.

Yes, in terms of player to player comparison, today's Arsenal stands nowhere near the Arsenal of early 2000's (Vieira in his prime, Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Ljunberg, Sol), however, whats interesting to note is that their style of play has not been remarkably different from them.

It is very natural for any sane critic to come out and watch Arsenal grow, however, time is one factor that would not cut any ice with me!

Arsene's been clinging on to it a bit too long, and its time that this Arsenal team proved that they are much more than a top 4 club.

I know short passing is what Arsenal is best at. But do you not wonder that a team with such brilliant talent has not been able to win any trophies for the last 5 years. I know Wenger has been phnomenal. He has done so much for the club. But he is now living on his past deeds. He has made some basic errors. He should have rectified the goalkeeper situation long time back. Almunia and Fabianski are in no way goalkeepers of a top team. And let me tell you - Goalkeepers can win points. Take Van de Saar for example. He has saved Manu so many times. Manu does make mistake at the back but Van de Saar is always there to protect them. This makes a huge difference. Almunia and Fabianski do not have any sort of command in the box. They are always nervous when the long ball comes in and make some sort of error which costs us the match

One more area where Wenger has gone wrong - Tactics. If you see Arsenal do not seem to have any gameplan. All they do is come on the field and start passing. If they get the goal its fine, if not they start to get frustrated. They simply do not have a plan B to fall back on. And I understand beautiful football is good to watch but to have the same strategy against all the premeir league teams? All of them know how to defeat us and where are we vulnerable - i.e. defence. All other teams do is make pass high and long into our box and the goal comes. This has happened A LOT.

Another area is Striker. Van persie is good. But his fitness is pathetic. Most of the season he is injured. He is not reliable to fall back upon. We got Chamakh this season. He is good. But he is not the kind of striker we need. We need a mean and a selfish striker. See drogba, Rooney and Torres. Our players never shoot from distance. They only score when the ball is inches near the goal line. And Chamakh is not at all physical. Have you seen any powerful strike from him? No. Because he is not that type. Bendtner is a little improved Chamakh but no better. What we need is another Henry.

Another sore point is the set pieces. Arsenal are miserable at it. They do not have good wingers. They do no know how to make crosses. If you see Manu most of their goals are from crosses. I am not a fan of such kind of goals but they do win matches.

What I moan about is Wenger is not adapting himself. He has one tactic and is forcing it to work. He doesnt realise that if a tactic is not working he needs to change it. Playing players out of position is not a good thing. Walcott is one such player. He is not a winger. He should be played as a striker. He can shoot from distance.

Please do not think that I hate Arsenal. In fact I love Arsenal so much that I have missed a lot of AIMCATS on weekends just because Arsenal was playing at that time. But its painful to see such a side lose. Its difficult to be an Arsenal fan. But its hard not to love this team
