Recent North London Derbies have taken its toll on him and hence an obsession with finishing only ABOVE Tottenham while the rest can go and win the league, but he would rather finish above his local rivals.

And it isn't in every case.
It's used in different context in different culture. Try google, and search for negrito. You'll get an idea of what am talking about. And there's lot of politics behind the ban IMO. The xenophobic FA, Blatter and don't know who else are involved.

Yep...for once this season, hitting the crossbar and missing sitters did not cost liverpool. (yea the woodwork was disturbed again...19th time this season in 19 matches)
One negative from the game was that not enough chances were created. Suarez was missed deeply. He would be a handful with Gerrard against City on the 3rd.
Downing is a waste on the right..he needs to play on the left. The game changed dramatically when gerrard came, not only because he's awesome but also because he started putting delightful hung up balls in the box for carroll to attack....something that I dont know why others in the team dont do. (and we say carroll is a failure!)
very good chance we'll challenge spurs if gerrard gets a good run in the team!

Amazing game. It's the difference in class of Adam and Gerrard, that I believe hurt us more than Carroll's form. Big mistake in selling both Aqua and Meireles IMO. Gerrard lifts everyone's game around himself, and Charlie's shortcomings has it's effect on other's game. And the crosses that Steve put in were marvelous. Amazing he can do the job of the midfielder, winger and striker all by himself. Hats off.

Well chelsea are a good team, but they are definately not the strongest at home... already lost to villa, arsenal and liverpool i think... that's not particularly a good record... chelsea dosn't have any youth policy unlike Man utd, liverpool or arsenal... they have a superstar in josh mcharan(dunno spelling) and yet he is not able to get a game..
I really hope liverpool beat city, with gerrard back pool are looking a lot stronger..
