As for Sanchez saga heres my update n personal opinion..
People need to think again if they think Man Utd are completely out of the Sanchez race. It seems Sanchez will only move to Manchester United or Barcelona. Sanchez has refused to speak to City, he is not interested in a City move. Barcelona have offered just 22m for Sanchez, they have even tried to get Udinese to accept players in the deal, but players have rejected a move to Udinese and Udinese want cash for the player.
I have heard two story's, one is that we have offered 25m and another is that we offered 27m. But it's understood we are Sanchez' second choice behind Barcelona. Lets hope Barcelona pull out and that would leave us in the running, as long as City don't bribe him with gold, I imagine he will keep snubbing them.
Udinese have confirmed we are one of four clubs that have made a bid for Sanchez, our bid is either 25m or 27m, either way we have made a bid and are still in the running. I still think he will end up in Barcelona, but while we are 'apparently' his second choice, we still have a chance. But more importantly, it proves we are still in for another winger as well as Young.
Well the man who cud spoil or decide all this show is AW.. If he prices Fabregas out of Barca's reach then they will up the bid for Sanchez.. Plus the reason they are trying to get Fabregas for cheap is nt just bcz of his desire to play for Barca but bcz Fab wnt move to any other club from Arsenal only if he moves its gonna be to Barca...So financialy n tacticaly speaking Barca are doing the rite or smart thing by offering only 30-35 M for him even if by current market standards he is worth 40-45 M..

Well, looks like Bojan is going to sign a 4 year deal with AS Roma, with an option to buy him back in the first two years. Great deal IMO. Win-Win situation for Barca. He'll get playing time, which Barca cannot give him at this moment.
The thing with Sanchez transfer is, Jeffren doesn't want to be part of the deal. He prefers staying in spain. Barca are still under negotiations on all fronts-Sanchez, Cesc, and even Rossi and Mata are now options, if Sanchez deal doesn't materialize.
Btw, in other news, Spain U21 came back from behind to win the semis of Euros U21. They are in finals now. Thiago, Adrian and Mata are in some form. If Thiago continues to play in this fashion, Barca won't need Cesc!!

Thiago from what I have seen is more of Iniesta than Xavi. He is better as attacking midfielder. I don't know why cules are seeing him as Xavi's replacement.

Sir alex knows the potential of sanchez and so would love to have him but with nani performing as well especially last year, he might not pursue him aggressively as he did with jones. But one thing is for sure that he will never let him go to any other premier league club especially likes of city( 3rd team chasing sanchez) who can then with arrival of sanchez become really strong.If need be then Sir Alex will buy him and offload Nani to Bayern or Milan.
Similarly Barca are also not to keen to acquire sanchez because they have many good players in their bench waiting for their opportunity.Plus their playing style doesn't make use of wing play as much and so buying someone for 30m might not be on their agenda since they have Fabregas to go for also. but at the same time they know that sanchez for them can be used like madrid's ronaldo in future
the biggest mistake manutd made in recent years i believe is not sign wilshere.I know he chose arsenal but we should have been more aggressive. I heard that neville had shown wilshere entire manutd rather than someone like sir alex. He would be the perfect player for our problems. Not too aggressive neither to laid back, proper box-to-box midfield player.
Now go in transfer market for CM and spent millions and we may still be not satisfied.

Nopes, Cesc has played as playmaker from deep like Xavi when he was there along with Flamini and I believe it was his best season for us. He is defensively far better than Iniesta and Thiago. Playing 4-3-3 with two attacking midfielders can be suicidal against teams with decent counterattack. For 4-3-3, you need one out and out CM & one BtoB midfielder. I don't think either Thiago and Iniesta can do CM cos. they have to check their natural attacking instinct.

U are wrong mate..!! We did bid for Sanchez in Jan 2010 around 12 M but Udinese rejected the offer plus SAF has followed the guy for 6-7 yrs nw..

raisonar is right Wilshere joined Arsenal at the age of 9.. If u really wanna knw whom Man Utd missed out yes it was Ramsey too but it was Josh McEacheran despite him being a Man Utd fan and i have been told he used to go with his mum to every Utd game he can as a kid.. missing out on Josh McEacheran was more devastating as he is the man who plays close to Wilshere at U-20 level..!! he hs bags of potential and talent as Wilshere.. I love this kid McEacheran play as much i have seen him..!!

Fabreagas does play a more attacking role like Iniesta but eventually he will become a a complete CM alike Xavi..!! I can see him emulating Xavi and Thiago replacing Iniesta in future..
Or perhaps when Iniesta gets into 30s he may take over Xavi's role of possession football and a more playmakers role int he middle and Fab to play more attacking role making runs up n down the pitch as a connecting link bw Messi/Villa and Iniesta so if u ask me Barca need Fabreags more than Sanchez..!!

I disagree completely, Barca dont need Cesc, right now, he may not even start every match.
But they do need Sanchez and Rossi. With Bojan leaving they need another striker,

I would like to add one more think, if that Ryan 'thug' Shawcross had not broken Ramsey's leg, Wilshere would never have crossed Ramsey in the pecking list. Wilshere is a big talent, Ramsey is even bigger, you will see this in coming seasons, and both are a lot better than McEacheran, who is yet to break in England U21's.
