Add to that the challenge was outside the box.:drinking:
not quite so flanagan was outside but the spuds' guy was inside and when both came tumbling down, both were inside although it was too theatrical for me, but i am not the ref:lookround::lookround:
criticism for refrees is fair. It happens every year. Last year manutd lost title due to that. But we must understand the difficulty of their job.if players have off day we accept that then why not with refrees. Rather than moaning about poor refreeing decisions, there ought to be some kind of rules or laws with help of which refree can chnage thier decision ( either during the game or after the game). eg: infamous match madrid vs barca Even if at the end of the match those 3 actors of barca were penalised for thei acting, football fans would still be happy. Also this would prevent them from doing the same again because they know that they won't escape technology.
to be honest we do need to give refrees a little break

sounds something on the lines of what FA tries to do with it's decent campaign or some bull****.
something on the lines of ICC - to ban or fine players after matches
In transfer speculation, David Gill has revealed the search for Edwin van der Sars successor at Old Trafford is over. Uniteds chief executive is quoted in The Telegraph: We know the keeper we want. We are in a good situation with that and it will progress at the end of the season. It is not as though it is a surprise that Edwin is retiring. We have made the decision and I am sure we can get the deal done.
He also said that they would be looking to buy a few new players in the summer as Gary Neville has retired and most probably Scholes will also retire at the end of the season so there would be a need to replace them.
^Sanchez and Charlie Adam/Scott Parker at ManUtd would be simply outstanding. I'm hoping for at least one big signing at ManUtd in the summer and a GK (De Gea or Stekelenburg)

U call Adam/ Parker as a marquee or big signing....
We dnt need Scott Parker bcz we already have a similar style player in Fletcher.. Arsenal need them as hes much better than Song everyday..!! Adam would be nice but i doubt he can cope up with the pressure of playing for Man Utd.. though he may or maynot
P.S. Sum Utd fan just said to me Why not let VDS take a penalty if we get it against Blackpool or maybe stand Paul Scholes in goal if Blackpool get the penalty...

P.S. Expect 1 Big signing and 1 GK atleast..!!
No. I said I expect at least 1 big signing and a GK and along with that if we get someone like Charlie Adam it would be good. As for Fletcher, the less said the better. He's one of the worst players at the club IMO.

well then i cnt say anything on this if thats ur opinion..!! bcz hes the real engine in the midfield a proper b2b midfielder.. he definitely was the least gifted footballers but has developed a lot with hardwork and his work ethics..
He was in the PFA Premier league of the year for 2009-2010.. not an easy thing..!! he was placed in the midfield along with Fabregas..
AS per this season yes he hasnt been upto his standard but then he gt infected with a virus which kept him out..
P.S. Read SAF's comment he said if Fletcher proves his match fitness and gets a bit of game time he is a certain player in his playing XI most times and he will be playing the final against Barca..!!
i Predicted correctly the standings arsenal won't qualify 4 next season spurs/pool will take cl spot:lookround:
it doesn't matter if Arsenal will have to play extra matches to qualify for CL group stage coz eventually Arsenal will make it's entry to group stage without any doubt. but it's a real disappointment bcoz the team was fighting for number one spot about a month ago and now they r fighting for the third spot...we have lost so many points in last 8 matches and this is not just the story of this season but it happened last season as well as in 2008 season.
United have 16m bid for No.1 keeper target accepted
Manchester United believe they have secured their first signing of the summer.
Spain Under-21 goalkeeper David De Gea has confirmed he will leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, and now his club have accepted, in principle, a United offer of around 16million.
Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed this week he wants three high-profile new faces to cover the departure of some of his most experienced players, with Gary Neville and Edwin Van der Sar retiring, and Paul Scholes possibly following suit.
A keeper is top of his list, and positive contact has already been made with representatives of De Gea, who is only 20 but is already regarded as one of the best at his position in Europe.
Contrary to suggestions in Spain, no deal has yet been signed. But the new Premier League champions are supremely confident they have their man after being given permission to talk to the player.
Chief executive David Gill said: "We know the keeper we want and are in a good position, and I'm sure we can get the deal done."
But the De Gea deal is clearly just the start of a big-money summer for United, who are prepared to spend big to ensure they replace important players with quality performers proven at the highest level.
While De Gea is still a youngster, he has already won his spurs at the top level, helping Atletico win the Europa League last season and the UEFA Super Cup back in August and playing in the Champions League.

The bid has been accepted a month back.. its just De Gea hasnt signed on the dotted line.. Ha has said to decide abt his future in June.. Daily Mirror is a rubbish newspaper in transfer stories it runs the same old story again n again..!!
The rumour from OT is that Man Utd has got permission to talk to a player by a club who owns the player before the window opens.. Who is it.. Its not certain..
Maybe Sanchez or Modric if its a PL club its nt De Gea as we have already agreed personal terms for him but just his nod on the paper is left thats it..
It maybe Sneijder or Young..
I have also been told that player only wants to go to Man Utd so can be Sanchez or Sneijder or Young..
so keep guessing
Raphael Varane deal as i have been told will be announced after CL final or in a few days from nw which seems to involve around 5-8 M transfer fee to Lens..!!
P.S. Fergie said 3 TEAM players nt SQUAD players so dnt count youngsters as those 3 Signings he wants to do.. except De Gea..!!

Raphael Varane transfer fee is 10M nd it is classified... Moreover all the clubs like Chelsea,Inter,Roma showing interest in Andre Villias Boss coach of F.C. Porto will have to be disappointed unless they are ready to shell out huge sums as transfer fees bcz of the buy out clause.. Also , the buy out clause for their forward Hulk is arount 100M euros nd Falcao is around 30M...I don't see any club payin so much.....So, apparently no movement from Porto's team........

Are yaar 10 M Euros fee translate to around 7-8 M Pounds..
It doesnt matter if u have a 100 M buy out clause bcz it goes all down to the player's will to play for club..!! U Can hand in transfer request like the greedy Tevez..!! But that does not guarantee a move will be forked out but the chances become more n the fee drops if player wants to move..!! Lucas from Sao Paulo is a gr8 talented teenager as good as Ganso but has a 100 M buy out clause in his contract.. that doesnt mean a 17-18 yr old will move for a transfer fee of 100 M..
P.S. I m nt talking abt Lucas Piazon whom Chelsea signed recently for future.. He is a diff Lucas at the same club i guess.. but rated much more highly than the one Chelsea signed plus they play in diff positions..!!
