i read a stat today that had all the all shots hitting the posts resulted in goals, Arsenal would have won the league by 10 points.. well, had the referees been more sane in Arsenal's games, they would have won by 20..!!

The battle for relegation is turning out to be very intense.
I hope that espn ,star sports show matches of these relegation threatened teams rather than heavyweights like arsenal, liverpool, chelsea.( not manutd coz they entertain blackpool at OT).

The idea of keeping a press conference for referees is excellent. Referees should be answerable. How many times do The FA or UEFA pull up referees for wrong decisions that cost an entire match, in some cases the title?
Referees have to be more accountable and answerable to the public.
Well atleast we can curse or abuse the referee as much as we want here.. Thank God we don't get fined or banned for this..!! Think about the poor managers.. first they lose the match due to some stupid refereeing error and next they get fined or banned for speaking their mind....!!
And that is why u see even Arsene Wenger and Harry Redknapp are backing SAF in his latest tussle with the FA.. cuz sooner or later every club bears the brunt of bad refereeing.. except Barcelona maybe...!!
i would just say that FA seriously needs a change in it's implementation - it is trying to apply a good thing but seems to be going after enmity rather than justified application
