Couldnt get the time yesterday as I had to return back to bangalore!!As I am the first one to share MS gdpi-ex...I wd like to go through all the process. Gdpi timing was 9:30..bt it could get started at 10:00 only.At first a form was given to fill general details bout DOB, acads,degree etc for both MS n FT, but in case of MS on the backside of the form u have to answr two Ques. bout why MBA-MS n which service sector u wd like to be in!!:neutral:
After that we got to attend a ppt bout MS by two kool seniors which was really gud 😃 !!

a great initiative taken by aj.kumar :)
just to add few pointers before rest of u go and attend ur process:
1. read up about service sectors, find ur preference and u shud know that particular sector fairly well.
2. there always will be 2-3 of my classmates or seniors, they are there to help u, guide u, so dont hesitate to ask, be it anything.
3. extempore topics may/may not be triggered by ur CV/SOP/form. it can be whim and fancy of the panel to come up with any topic. let ur creativity flow, try and put forth as many different points as u can, dont repeat anything that u ve already said.

there were 9 ppl in the group and were told to discuss for 10 min. We made a hell of it, shouting, screaming and all.
the moderator stopped the GD after 4 min. p2 told us that he will make it sure that none of us do well:(
pi: i was the last person to go for the pi in our group of 9

me: was trying to give valid points and made several attempts to calm down and channelise the gd

me: started with some bullshit crap..but soon brought in some good points. mentioned that winners follow the approach ..took examples of saurav ganguly and tata motors..
after the extempore p1 nad p3 asked some crap (easy)questions ..like growth rate of automobile industry etc which i answered easily..
overall they were extremely freindly and were smiling all the time. Guess that the attitude was same with all the candidates..
some other extempore topics in my group were:
1. noise pollution (related to our gd performance)
2. baisakhi (that candidate was a punjabi)
3 ranking system (that candidate was overall topper in each bloddy xams he ever apperared for !!)
4. rich culture in south india (from a chennaite)
the extempore toopics were basically related to what u speak in the first few minutes of ur pi..very unlike last year when most of the topics were name, hobby, profile based.

Reporting time: 9:30am
Reached FMS at 9am.Its in Kamala Nagar opposite Kirodi Mal College.
There were around 25 people in our slot. We were directed to 1st floor.2 students from
FMS came and gave a quick video presentation about college. Presentation was really good and inspiring
Depicting the way of life at FMS. They asked us to shoot questions about anything related to FMS.
Few students queried about Hostel facilities et al.I asked about GD at FMS.What are they looking for in
Such as short Span of 13 minutes. As I have read and heard that most of the GDs at FMS are fish market.
So I was little scared. Thought that by asking this question I will be able to make sure that my fellow GD mates
Wont create a fish market scenarioJ. The student told that Panel members are very experienced and stalwarts
In there Field and would be able to judge us fairly enough within a span of 13 minutes.

We were given a form to fill with very few details. All the forms were collected after sometime and they called us one by one
To get our 10th mark sheet and graduation mark sheet verified. We were then directed to a room where GD was about to take place.
There were 2 panel members. Professor A.S Narang and one lady.Narang sir started the proceeding by congratulating us for clearing the written

Primary education or in Higher education. I think my strategy paid off and our GD was very cool. Nearly all spoke with very few interruptions.
I started off second and spoke why do we need primary education or higher education at all. Correlated it with Abraham Maslows hierarchy needs.
Said something like primary education is needed for all as thats the point where we start to understand about our self society and the world around
us and thats the basic need. Higher education need comes at level 5 for self actualization. As more than 70 percent of Indian population is engaged in agricultural
activities primary education is there basic need However Spending in higher education will indirectly help them as well. It is a catch 22 situation as the number for
Primary education is higher as compared to the number for higher education and Higher education per individual is expensive as compared to primary education per individual. Also quoted that most people who do higher studies become entrepreneur during various stages of there career providing employment to many who just have primary education. To provide food and employment to a nation of more than a billion people we need to take the help of technology and we need people who have done higher studies. Someone spoke about the skills that people get when primary education is imparted to them. The ability to reason et all. Sorry guys

Speak for the topic not against it and topic for me was Daydreaming. I started off by saying..Thinking precedes action and daydreaming is all about think so deeply that you tend to forget your ambience. Most people daydream when they are obsessed with any particular idea and they want to visualize the actualization of the idea. One might daydream without closing his eye lids. Dreams seen during night may come true or might turn false whereas daydream comes true most of the times. When you do daydreaming you correlate your physical being with the idea. I spoke for more than a minute, cannot recall what else I said apart from this.Narang sir has to stop me as I was going on and on. I think I repeated one point.
