What kind of calculators do we need to buy for FRM exams??
Any sort of financial calculators will do good or do we need to buy something particular??
The syllabus changes every year or after each exam???
If i purchase study materials of 2014, can i use that for nov 14 exam??

I have a doubt which has been driving me kind of crazy from yesterday. This is an exact quote from schwesser:
"When you expect to receive the commodity in the future, we say you are long the commodity and you will hedge the value of expected commodity by selling the corresponding futures contract. If you will deliver the commodity in the future, you are short, and you will hedge by taking a long position in the corresponding futures contracts."
I am confused.
I assumed taking long position in futures meant receiving the commodity(and locking-in prices as they could increase) end of the contract OR hedging the prices (in order to reduce the risk) and offsetting the trade future. => In this case, I'm the buyer and consequently I'm long on the commodity. right?
