Why would you be glad to receive very old material, for most of which the syllabus is changed?

Advise you to check the latest syllabus and get the latest readings (maybe from Om or Mahakali) or buy one or two of the main books (egL Hull - these can be of help in your career otherwise also).
I had already given away my FRM material, but even that would have been useful for 1-2 years. After that the changes overtake the usefulness.

I am Shashi. I am planning to appear for May'13 FRM (Part-1). Can anyone help which stationery people provide FRM core material, Schweser, BT and practice exam with a very good quality and in lines with the AIM.
Also please mention if the "Hull" mentioned here and the core materials are one and the same. If not please help me where could I get Hull and how many books should I buy?

@Tyranitar Brother, without any discouragement to you personally and to undermine the utility of these 2 courses (CFA and FRM), clearing them will only add to your CV if you already have a job in Finance. They will help you strengthen your finance understanding and concepts. But, if you think that they will help you get IB jobs or even get you better jobs in Finance, then my answer would be a clear 'NO'. Believe me, I have friends and have seen ppl having cleared FRM/CFA or both(partly or even fully) and working in KPO back office jobs simply bcos these certifications are not valued enough or given substantial weightage while selecting a candidate to hire by the Indian employers.
