Nice team .. infact all teams i think wud in the end look same and hence the subs and the english weather become all the more imprtant in this edition of PISS.

This team might be a little different from the one I originally posted. But now that that one hasn't been registered anyway, please consider this one. And if that one has been registered already, you can keep it intact.
Was just contemplating the possibility of adding a few new ideas to PISS. To make it more performance rewarding oriented.
Lots of batsmen and bowlers may perform very well on a day but not collect too many PISS points. To try and balance that, how about
1. If a batsman ends up with the highest strike rate of the innings, we give him a bonus 5 points. That is subject to the condition that he scores at least 30 runs. The number of runs or points can of course be revised.
2. If a bowler ends up with the best economy rate of the innings, we give him a bonus of 5 points. Subject to the condition that he's picked up at least one wicket or bowled a minimum of 6 overs. 3. If a player picks up the man of the match award, he gets a bonus of say 20 points. Now about the joker. Because the joker can't be substituted, why not give him a few special priviliges. Like, if he scores a hundred or gets 4 wickets (bonus point situation), why not give him double the bonus points? Another idea. How about allowing every PISS player to select a particular 'Warp' game for the joker. You get only one shot at it. And whatever the points, the joker gets in this game can be multiplied by 1.5 or something like that

See, about the changes to be made to PISS, right now, we are not planning to change any rule regarding points et all, for the simple reason that it is just a coupla days away, don't wanna confuse people with last minute changes.
Secondly, it is alrite to make changes to make it more interesting, but the question here is, is there an end to it? Such a list is never ending, instead, we would first aim for simplicity and robustness, and getting more competition instead, to make it more interesting. The Joker was deliberated for hours on end, and very specifically we did not want to give extra privileges, becoz that would mean a lotsaff volatality in the rankings. As I was explaining to someone, SS is 90% luck, and only about 10% skill, and by adding these rules, I think, the 10% would dwindle down to almost zilch.
