yaar baki sab thik hai.but this PGSSL001 sounds like some weired chip,or worse, like some mundane design document u need to prepare before the real thing starts.:neutral:
how about calling the winner Puy Of the Match(POM) or Puy Of the Series(POS)?something on those lines.short n snazzy.:)

Please remove the bonus point rule completely.It's grossly unfair on a certain dhoni or yuvi or any1 who might get out on 98 while trying to slog.same goes with the no. of wickets taken.

Could not help myself laughing at that analogy! Seems so much like an Electronic Engineer, coming right outta a Micropocessor exam hall it seemed!

I think the winner can definitely be called a PoS, at least till some one comes up with some thing better! For now though, let's stick with PGSSL001 for the series, alrite? So, we would have the first PoS for PGSSL001!!!

hey guys finally we have decided on a format!!!!! thanx to suneer!!!!! and again a thanx for making me the stats in charge!!!!!! wanted that badly!!!!!

well i think the points andy4u has raised are good but then thats what is gonna make it fun!!!!! lets continue with it for atleast one series!!!! if we feel that it seriously is hard on those having such players in the team then of course we will change it!!!!! but lets try it out once!!!!!!

and yes i will be posting my own team!!!!! too bad a certain SRT will be missing the ODIs!!! but dont worry suneer, m not gonna increase my own points!!!!!!!!

aneways will post soon regarding the beginning of the competition!!!!! thats when m ready to jot down ur teams people!!!!!

aneways guys its time we started with our competition!!!! u see m ready with my excel sheets!!!!!!!

but first lets get tuned into some fine points!!!!!

this league is valid only for the west indies v india ODI series!!!!! so logically please choose players from these two teams only!!!!!!! hehehe!!!!!

the match schedule is as follows -

1st ODI - 18th may 2006
2nd ODI - 20th may 2006
3rd ODI - 23rd may 2006
4th ODI - 26th may 2006
5th ODI - 28th may 2006

yup!!!! so thats the list!!!! the matches start at 8pm IST!!!!! but for simplification issues, the teams will be locked at 6pm sharp on match day!!!!!! the teams will be open to changes, i.e only three substitutions for the entire series, immediately after the match gets over!!!!!!!!!! the 6pm deadline will be adhered to strictly!!!!!!:satisfie:

however the scores will be put up only by the following afternoon/evening!!!!!

now about putting up your teams!!!!!

as you all know, you have to select five players, for registering your team u will have to post afresh every time!!!!! that means if u post say, today and want to make subs after the 1st match then u will have to post again and not edit ur previous posts!!!!! otherwise no changes will be made to ur teams!!!!!! however u can change ur team any number of times till 6pm 18th may without affecting ur subs!!!! but again u will have to post afresh each time!!!!!


plus while posting ur team please give it a team name!!!!!! that will help us in r calculations!!!!!!

Me a great fan of super selector.. Will def join in.. although i will be away from net for those few days.. so there might not be any substitution for first three matches..

the bonus points are being debated!!!! lets c if they work out fine!!!! then we might consider putting in some for the MoM too!!!!
