See this nonsensical question of which shift marks gets decreases or increases is foolish. If exam happens in Two shifts, and equal number of students appear in each shift, equal number of people will get selected. That is what normalization. 1st they will draw percentile rank in each shift, then they will than they will normalize or adjust scores.
