Its surprising to see some of the bottom 30 schools such as Olin and Smith doing so well. On the other hand Wharton, Duke, Ross and Cornell have more than 20% unemployed students. Any comment?

Yes....it is easy to place 140-145 students from your batch of 150 students but not easy to place 480 from 500. Moreover, it is the responsibility of the candidate and not the school to get placed. Last but not the least, big class size automatically increases the competition for the same job.

Note: Just my opinion.

You are quite right Sunil. Another point could be that graduates from schools which are ranked lower will be more likely to accept jobs which are less high profile than some of their peers at Wharton or Duke.
