These may appear simple or abvious but wen u know it, itz realy helpful wen solving tricky questions..
for example: find the sum of no. of factors of these numbers:
4,9,25,49,121.
it may take tym to find the number of factors of these numbers and then add them up..
Buttt.........
if u know the very simple concept or even once heard of it or encountered at a thread at Pagalguy, then u can solve it within 5 sec:
CONCEPT: A no. which is a square of a prime no. has only 3 factors.
So the answer is 3*5 that is 15...
so guyz , its a request please share such concepts, no matter how simple they are..
time and distance short cut
let a and b the points which is x distance apart. now p travels from a and b travels from q simultaneously . they meet at time 't' . after meeting a reaches q in 'h' hours and b reaches p in 's' hours. now to find the time taken to meet is given by
t = sqrt ( h*s) .
