Document verification: Went Smoothly except for the fact that the guy grilled me on seeing my profile..(Why have u resigned, u r stupid etc etc..... full public tamasha :(
In the Interview Room:
Entered the room, by taking permission (4 M & 1 F), left the room a bit open, then chairman asked to close it. Did that. Wished everyone. Then upon directive from chairman, got seated and thanked them.
Chairman asked tell me about yourself: Explained briefly. They began grilling me on my profile. They made fe comments : (You are a potential Scale III level candidate...... We dont believe whatever you are saying but then since u have came, we will take the interview).....at this point, I felt like unleashing my 'Corporate Avtar" where I would have ripped apart the entire panel in few minutes, BUT then I kept smiling....However, my mind went blank from here onwards.
Chairman asked 2 q's from my domain: Answered both.
M1: Functions of RBI : Answered in Detail.
Chairman: What will happen if NPA's increase too much, besides hitting P&L Statement> Couldnt understnad first then answered that the lending will suffer.
F1: Asked something, again from profile. I was like grrrrr, but then answered with smile.
M2: Asked Inflation, CPI, current rate (december data) and no of items in the CPI basket. ........ Answered Inflation & CPI (could have been a little bit better),,,,for CPI current rate I said sorry sir, I dont know....... for CPI basket, I said 676 items (my mistake as I mentioned WPI basket)
M3: Asked something about 'demonetisation'. Explained...
M2: Again asked about demonetisation, referring to PM's recent statement....Explained well.
M4: Kept Silent...
Chairman: Thankyou...
I said thank you sir & thank you ma'am... left bit hurried....

Than I waited till 1:30 pm for my turn, in meantime I talked with other candidates, familarised with them. most of them were nervous.
The guy before me was in hurry, he left the door wide open while leaving.
Than they rang the bell but no one was there to instruct me to go in, but i know this bell is for me so I entered the room, they asked me to close the door , greeted with smile and sat there. 1F and 4M.
They were seated in C shape two on my sides and three on front. In middle and right in front of me was a male, on his left was the female.
M1: Introduce karo apne aap ko.
Me : Introduced myself in english with confidence in about 2 mins, last me I said about my work experience and where I am currently working. (Electrical Panel Manufacturing)
M1 : kaisa lag raha h beta waha kaam kar ke.
Me: told , indirectly that I am not so happy with my job and also gave reasons, they asked me about my salary also.
F : banking se kya samajhte ho
Me : deposit lete h loan dete h etc etc
F: deposit kitne type ke hote h

Guys,who all have cleared IBPS exam and are pretty sure to make into the final list of selected candidates,and are expecting 430+ marks in SSC CGL?
If anyone just got d cutoff mark it will be 21% so if one gets 80 marks in interview will get 16% as a whole 37%.... I guess all get equal chance to qualify...ju just previous trends.. last yr

My interview experience is not good
they asked me function of bank
I said accepting deposits and giving loans and also other services like selling insurance products
then they asked how many layers os has
i tell them 7 then they said to name them but i was able to recall only 5 of them and forget 2 layers name
then one member said u forget bank and btech both
then he asked about 2 factor authentication
i said i dnt know
then he said ok go
i thought if i leave it will be blunder so i said plz ask some more questions sir
he said no
then i said i dnt know exactly what is 2 fact auth but from auth i think it is username and password
then another member ask qualities of good banker
then i said maintaing better relations with customer
then said means with your relatives then i said no we have to be neutral
but give priority to weaker sections and agriculture and small scale sector
then he said go
