Guys how much can be the cutoff for ippb mains? Few are expecting their marks around 95-100 and predicting cutoff would be in the same range. But I am expecting to get around 80-85. Should i stop dreaming abt this? Pls comment. Cut off would be -

4.what is pmjdy ,mudra yojna,atal pension yojna?
5.what is spectrum in telecommunication?
6.about Olympics
7.names of northeast States.?
Was not able to tell about Faraday's law .went blank at that time.... Overall 15-16 minutes chala interview. Hoping for the best and all the best to all. Panel is very friendly..
is wearing a blazer or suit is mandatory for the interview??

M1: So (name), you did BBA and thereafter worked with XYZ Bank for around a year. Why did you leave?
~ Explanation went on for 2 mins (was a little nervous, because no prefatory questions were asked).
M1: Yeh reason toh samajh nahi aaya, yahan par bhi sab kuch waisa hi hoga, nothing is different (and he shared an experience).
~nodded.
M1: Accha aap ne wahan kitne JanDhan account kholey?
~ Sir, private banks mein JanDhan accounts par itna focus nahi hua, MUDRA par bhi nahi (I was stupid to mention this name!)
M1: Accha MUDRA deposit account hai?
~ Nahi sir, chote business needs ke liye lend karta hai (interrupted..) M1: Chote business jaise?
~ Thought for a few seconds and said 'Khadi' :|
M1: Khair yeh sab hataaiye, yeh bataaiye kiske liye hote hain yeh accounts?
~Sir, gareeb logo ke liye jaise jo log BPL mein aate hain..(interrupted)

M1: Iss jawab se mujhe ek serial ki yaad aa gayi (he laughed). Woh toh theek hai, phir bhi kuch toh socha hoga? MD, CMD kya banna hai?
~ Sir, aise toh sky is the limit! Successful banker banna chahti hoon like my father (interrupted)
M1: You'll only feel happy when your work targets, branch targets are complete and you get promotions...warna koi khush nahi hota...
~ (I wanted to answer but did not get a chance, simply nodded). (He asked the other panel member to ask).
M2: Banking Ombudsman ke baare mein jaanti hain?
~ Ji Sir, agar kisi customer ko bank se shiqaayat hoti hai (interrupted..)
M2: Banking Ombudsman internal authority hai ya external? ~(I got confused) Sir, inter...internal !?!?!

Ibps VI Grand jbr Lucknow. I was the first candidate in the morning session. But I was not nervous. Panel had 4 males and 1 female in the panel. The chairman of the panel came to verifiers and said we will rap it by 4 as he had some work. I entered the room and wished the panel.M1- family ka background bataye- ans- I belong to Lucknow. My father works in army ( civil department) and my sister works with union bank. My mother died few years ago. M1. Sister kidhar PE posted hai- sir, khurja ...Near bulandsehar. Ok. Clerk hai ya officer- clerk. ...Apne schooling kaha se ki- central academy ,Lucknow...graduation- sir, I have done graduation in hotel management. M2 ye distance se the course ya regular- I said regular degree course ..B.sc in hotel management...Toh hotel management Karne ke Baad IBM GPS me job Kyu ki hotel me Kyu nhi Gye...Sir, I was looking for a good opportunity and that's why for the meantime I did a bpo job to survive in Delhi but as I was not able to make it to a nice property I shifted to banking and I now work as an executive with Idbi bank. M1 convening nhi hai but still...I got stuck over here. Ok...So, where are you posted in Idbi and salary answered. M3. 15 km away from home. Agar rural posting milega toh jaoge. I said sir Mera Idbi bijnor bhi rural posting hai..He said 15 km from home is not rural posting ...I agreed with no choice. M4.. what is the similarity between hotel industry and bank- I said both are part of service industry and they focus on relationship building to get business from customers and guest. M1. Business of your branch- I said casa -28 cr. Asset 13.5 total 50 cr...Actual is 70 cr. I got wrong here....M5.- how your responsibilities will change if u get assistant manager position as u r teller now.ans- as a teller I am associated with operational aspect more and if I become am I will be either responsible for asset or bring deposits and do lot more due diligence before granting loan..M1. do u know Idbi was in bad news recently ...Voh Kya tha...Ans- Idbi granted loan of 900 cr to kingfisher and that loan was granted with collateral and by bending rules..It has lead to arrest of few Idbi officials... m1 interupted..Uss time chairman kaun that...Ans- Yogesh Agarwal ..Abhi chairman kaun hai- Kishore kharat ji ...OK thank you may leave.., I don't know what to expect everything was very basic and they grilled me over why I did not join a hotel after hotel management..Everything got over in a flash..
