Is there no GD? We have only interview?

Dosto apne aisa analysis pehle NAHI dekhaa hoga, Jo m is bar ki final cutoff ka krne vala hu: Factors considered: 1. Vacancies (2014-21680 , 2015-16721, 2016- 12434, 2017- 8822 .. trend - decreasing with an average of 25.8538% each year.) 2. Number of applicants- Rising steadfast (increase in population per decade- 17~18 percent (decadal 2001-11)and thus , annual, around 5% , only talking about literate unemployed youths) 3. A derived but slightly irrelevant factor- cutoffs (not including 2016 because exam pattern has changed overnight) ALL GENERALS- 2015- 76, 2014-82, 2013- 65.80. 4. Technology penetration(GK Capsules, life made easy) - average 10 more marks easily scorable for all by rote method (specialty of India). Also there is a side effect- laziness. So let's calculate- We know that cutoff is inversely proportional to: A - decreasing number of vacancies B- the rising difficulty of exam And directly proportional to C - rising intensity of competing candidates(more and more increasing unemployed engineers) D - easy availability of study material and mock tests There may be other variables but for the sake of simplicity I am going to play with just these 4.... Now, A -> 25.8538 %, B-> (difficulty calculated on basis of previous year's cutoff which was 76… and adjusted according to technology penetration and rise in candidates)-> 30 % , C-> average increase of 5%, D-> technology helping in getting at least 7 percent more marks, thus 7%. (Leaving interview aside, because it's just a personality test , and everyone is individual so more or less, I am leaving it as a constant) Mathematically: Cutoff (Cf) Φ = κ.(A.B)/(C.D) κ is a constant and here we don't have the ability to find it because we don't have previous data of such hard level paper, thus for simplicity, take κ=1 , here Φ denotes function. Putting values: Let's assume all previous values as 100 and thus : Φ= 1. (74.1462x130 )/(105x107) = 0.8579444592790387 Or you can say there will be (100-85.79444592790387) % decrease as compared to previous value of final overall (normalized) cutoff (which we will , for the sake of simplicity, take as 49.9 (2015 value)) So , the verdict for 2017 will be : General- 49.9x 0.8579444592790387= 42.81142851802403 OR ~42.8 or simply 43 😇 Hit like if u agree. PS- you can calculate it on basis of average final normalized cutoff as well, but that ought to be lower or misleading. If you are thinking that even when there are 29 % decline in vacancies from 2016-17 then why did I multiplied by 49.9… i.e., previous year's cutoff, that is because I have already adjusted the average decline in vacancies in my formula, so that is the most foolproof way , without using a PC or strong statistical tools as Correlation-regression analysis, that would've been a bit too much 😂) Anyways all the best, my intrvw on 7 Feb. PPS: naraj na ho, this is just a viewpoint, plus minus 2 to ho hi skta h

Hello Friends ,

Just wanted to confirm if the application form for ibps mains ( the link for which has been activated ) contains personal , contact , qualification , experience and some other registration related details which we filled during application .

However there is no column for hobbies , extra curricular , achievements unlike SBI PO interview where we are given a seperate form to fill.

So my question is does IBPS also give a seperate form to fill in more personal details or this is the only form which we have to carry to the interview?

Thank you.
