Canara Bank 1st preference wale kon kon hai?

Mr X is provisionally shortlisted for the interview. Mr. X has not yet started preparing for the same though. However Mr. X is currently preparing for niacl & rbi pre and clerk mains as well. Mr. X would probably start his interview preparation by the end of this month. Besides Mr. X does not bother much about the cut offs. Lack of time might be the reason for Mr X. Mr. X will like this post.

Diff between bank rate, repo rate?? Just came across this interview question from past year..plz explain?

My fellow PGians , It has been a great amount of bondness we have had with each other but looking at some previous posts makes me sad. Why are we mocking to each othereven  when we know that all we have to do is secure one seat from the rest. We have some knowledgable people here on the page and I welcome their effort keeping this page alive and connecting all of us through their wordy expressions. To the every extent I do not compare  anyone being silent reader or someone exploding many posts with "Bad" tag. We all know that each one of us is fighting in  the same war zone with same thing(To secure so called our good career with a govt. job as soon as possible).  To hope is the dream and to work hard is  acheiving the goal. So no matter what keep on adding fuel to the fire unless we get the desired result but that should not come at expenses of hurting someone( Abuses or badmouthing). Keep on sharing your thought because some of yu who share are example of good leaders and many of us who read are example of genuine followers.

To the best of my knowledge , I know all those who have cleared Mains stand very good chance to become a PO. Whether we will succeed or not only time will tell but never ever stop working hard because if something did not happen yesterday again failed today than you shall succeed tomorrow for sure because hard work never goes in vain.

Next year ,will ibps conduct exam for PO recruitment ?

  • Yes
  • I don’t care

# is it correct question?

Seven boys A, D, Y, U, P, Q and J live in three different buildings – Ashiana, Top-view and Ridge. Each of them is flying kites of different colours i.e. red, green, blue white, black, yellow and pink, not necessarily in that order. Not more than three or less than two stay in any of the buildings. Q is flying a pink and does not live in Ridge building. U does not live in the same building as A or P and is flying a yellow coloured kite. D lives in Ridge building with only one more person and is flying a green kite. None in the Top-view building flies a white kite. P does not fly a blue kite.

Have u told your friends and relatives other than those who preparing competitive exam that u have cleared IBPS PO mains.?

  • Yes. I m happy so I did
  • No. wil tell aftr craking

What can be the reason of including "Current Affairs" Section in IBPS exam. I mean what kind of quality do they look for in a candidate by including this section?

While i started preparing for PO 3 months ago, I was scared about this section  and just to check my current standings in GA section, i browsed through the previous years' GA questions which were asked in PO exams in previous papers. I was not able to answer more than 5 ques asked in a single shift.

Than somebody suggested me to go for GA capsule. As i had no other option ,i studied GA capsule for 5-6 days b4 mains and attempted 24 questions with 2 wrong.

So again the question is same, does scoring good marks in GA section necessarily mean that one has a habit of being regularily updated with current happenings . If not so , then "why this section is included? What quality is IBPS looking for by including this section?"

Do they ever ask about your bank preference in interview? And justifications for the same?

How many of you put idbi bank in first choice or in top 10 preferences?

Qatar replaces Kafala rules with contract based labour system

  • Qatar on December 13, 2016, abolished the controversial Kafala labour system. The system has been replaced with a new contract-based labour system to ensure enhanced rights to the migrant labourers.

About Kafala system:

  • Kafala is based on sponsorship model. Under this system, every immigrant worker to Qatar required a local sponsor. The sponsor may be in the form of a company or an individual.
  • An immigrant worker needed the permission of the sponsor to switch jobs or leave the company.
  • The discretionary power on the part of the sponsor was misused a lot of times. The sponsors used to exploit the expatriates physically, financially and emotionally. Hence, the kafala system was identified as modern-day slavery.

About Contract system

  • Under this system, an immigrant worker needs to enter a contract with a company or an individual to obtain work visa.
  • Under this system, a worker can change job easily by fulfilling obligations under the contract.
  • Exit from the country is guaranteed as the worker is no longer required the prior approval of the company or individual employer.
