After analysing the voting pattern on the poll conducted by me and talking to some of my friends and people who gave the exam this year, i have come to a conclusion that the Cut-Off will be somewhat like this-
Quant: 11-12, Reasoning: 7-8, English:7-8, Computers:8-9, GA:13-14.
Overall: 75-80.
This is just an analysis.Ā
Note-
1. Most of the candidates did pretty well in Quant, so cutoff will be high in Quant and may rise to 12.
2. In English though the pattern was changed but still there are a number of good players who are from english medium schooling who do well in English. So cutoff will be moderate.
3. Reasoning was very tough but still due to a good number of inference based questions, people were able to attempt atleast 15 questions because of which cutoff should not go below 7.
4.This time majority fared poorly in Computers, 60% respondents of total 252 who responded to my poll, had a score below 12 altogether and out of this 32% had a score between 8-10. So cutoff in computers is bound to fall. Last year moderation led to scaling in the marks of 2nd shift guys because of which final cutoff was 12.25 in computers.
5. And finally in the GA part, many questions were asked from static part which not many people cover thoroughly. Also the CA questions were very factual and so many candidates faced problems in GA as well. So the cutoff will not go beyond 13-14.
Overall the paper was difficult and was almost similar to SBI. SBI had 2200 seats and on for 2200 seats, the cutoff went as low as 70. But given the fact that there is a good number of candidates who had given SBI mains had also appeared for IBPS and hence had an idea of the SBI pattern. So the cutoff will not go below 75.

Some delay might also be there due to the Re-Exam held in Lucknow on 25th but in no case will the result be late than 10th Dec.

This is not a post regarding to any cutoff prediction or so. Because as any other guy present here, i also dun hv the exact idea wht vil b d cutoff. As it varies based on different factors. Still if u getting 70+, u should better start preparing f interview rather than searching here for some random guesses. As Interview will play a crucial role in ur final selection. I personally feel d paper ws sum what f d similar level wrt sbi one. I scored 79 marks there. Cutoff comes down, if d paper is tough. Its as simple as dat. Better focus of next part, atb!!

I have joined pg few days back. Some of us are using abusive words on cut off related matters. Better, we should concentrate on interview questions or something productive. It will benefit to all even if i or anyone of us fails, it will help us to become more informed. It's not the matter we will pass or fail. Everyone of us will get a job soon, if we will try and try till the destiny.Good luck to all.
