Never join these Pgdbf progs of Banks.. BOB unless u are Unemployed :
1) The 19th Batch Students joined Manipal on 15th Dec 2016 and didn't received Stipent till 3 Months . they received now just few days before and the dress. The 20th Batch joined on 15 March 2017 are still waiting to get their dress and Stipend.
2) Course Schedule is Very Hectic. Once you leave for Class, You are not allowed to come Back Hostel Till ur class Gets Over at 6 pm daily.
3) Passing Criteria in Exams is 60% for the course.
4) BOB will keep all your ORIGINAL Documents.
5) Food is very Bad if you are not a South Indian.
6) No Shops Inside the Campus except a small tuck Shop.
7) You will be waiting for Joining a Branch after 9 months Course till the Bank prepares the List of Final Posting.
8) The EMI 6500 will be deducted from ur Salary so your inhand Becomes 29k as of now..The Loan will Extend till 7 Years..
Suppose you in other Jobs, Open a Account in a BANK (Hdfc, ICICI) and Start Saving 6500 recurring every Month,
Then After 7 Years u Get :5.5 Lakh + Interest (2 Lakh) = Whooping 7.5 Lakh (Check Banks RD Rates)
But BOB will Return Only 3.4 Lakh Amount and 1 Lakh Interest after 5 yrs.
9) U will have to give Bond of 3 yrs to 5 yrs in Bob, So u can't Leave unless you Pay Full Loan.
10) BOB entrance exam is Easier compared to IBPS PO.
11) You are treated as Students in BOB unline IBPS PO Officers in Training. You are Given Assignments in BOB to do and if u fail to do , then as Punishment you are told to write it 3 to 5 times.
12) Almost 200 Students as of Now form 19th and 20th Batch Quit from the Program after Selection in IBPS PO, Clerk , other exams..
