Let's look at an analysisLet's imagine a scenario.Suppose the total marks is 100
Case 1:Easy paper
There will be a high concentration of students in the 80s and 90s.There will be no clearly defined topper.The concentration of students in the 50s and 60s will be low.
Case 2:Average paper
There will be a high concentration of students in the middle,say in the 70s.The concentration of students in the 80s and 90s will be somewhat less.
Case 3:Tough paper
There will be a high concentration of students in the 50s and 60s.The concentration decreases gradually towards the 70s and 80s.In the 90s ,there will be very less students.Unlike the first case,here we can get a clear topper.
Similary,let's say ibps 5 was an average paper.So we expect a substantial concentration of students in the middle,say around 100.ibps 6 was a tough paper.So we can expect a high concentration of students in the 50s and 60s,People in the 80s will be very less.People above 90 will be rare.
