I had my SO exam on 29th Jan and PO interview on 05 Feb i.e. 6 days between and I felt only 6 days how come I will prepare for interview in that short period of time. Now, it's 26 March and result on 1st April i.e. 5 days in between and I am thinking how will these 5 days go by!!! It's always about '"'"THE CONTEXT'"'"

I don''t understand how peoples are predicting cutoff based on previous year vacancy and cutoff .. each year the cutofff depends on the marks students got in that year exam only.. last year the cutoff was 50 around because above 6200 students in the exam got 50 plus final marks including 5500 plus UR and 700 plus OBC and other candidate (any one can check in ibps website) , which means they got 100+ marks on avg which need 50 in interview (or say above 20+ from cutoff) to get selected for sure. which means half of the total vacany of 12000+ was getting 20 marks above cutoff on an avg..... thats y the cutoff went so high.. but this year can anyone here say that above 4400 student will get 70 plus marks... i dont think so..even if above 4000 student will get 70+ and an avg they 50 or 55 in int to get selected.. then also the cutoff will not go beyond 39.
now see the actual data of coaching institutes which published their marks.
After analysing marks of 4 institute (RACE,SREE,SRG,TP).. here is the findings Total students- 1952
general students-418
obc students - 959
Sc & St - 575
marks 80 and above- 28
marks 70 and above- 191 (General - 84 , OBC - 97 , SC/ST - 10)
marks 65 and above - 444 (General - 170 , OBC - 223 , SC/ST - 51)
marks 60 and above - 836
(NOTE : - Read the marks as , 836 above 60 out of which 444 above 65 , out of which 191 above 70 and so on)
Observation - approx 20% General student(1 out of 5) above 70 and 40% of general(2 out of 5) above 6510% of OBC (1 out of 10) are above 70 and 23% of obc are above 65 1.75% of SC/ST are above 70.
even if this trend continue..for all india then also not more than 3600 will get more than 70..... so the cutoff will be around 38 in worst case

This is the way an optimistic person will think.If I get selected,it's great obviously.If I get eliminated maybe something better is in store for me in the future or maybe to emerge as a stronger and better person.So guys let's be optimistic.We have put in our efforts required and we cannot change the results by worrying too much.

I answered most of their questions, some questions to which I didn't know the answer the madam gave me clues and helped me with answering... so I don't know how to categorise my interview performance.
