Gm friends and here is my analysis regarding cutoff- First lets assume that the average intv marks given to candidates in the previous year was 10, which is sensible enough. If the final cutoff was 49.9, lets say 50,then the marks required for getting selection with 10 marks in intvw was 100 as 100*0.4=40. I dont think anyone has major disagreement till here. So now coming to this year, we assume the avg intvw marks to be the same i.e. 10. Now in my view, avg marks in mains will hover around 70 and 70 is 30 less than 100 which is 30*0.4 i.e. 12 marks less. So the final cutoff should be around 50-12 i.e. 38 for this year.
Guys I am sure cutoff is 42-43
