Hello Everyone, I went through lot of final cut off predictions for IBPS PO 5(Last year) and from which I have made some observations. But first, this is the review which was close to perfect for last year's exam.
" IBPS PO V CWE Cutoff is – 76 out of 200.
which becomes (76 *80)/200 = 30.4 out of 80.
If a candidate who just cleared the cutoff score of IBPS PO V and manage to get the maximum marks in interview i.e. 90 out of 100, which means 18 out of 20.
By adding written & interview marks = 30.4 + 18 = 48.4
Thus overall it becomes 48.4 out of 100.
So, Expected Final cutoff will be in the range of (48 – 49.5) "
And the final cut off was 49.9.
So as per this logic, cut off won't go past 40. Yes,I agree vacancy is less but the number of people called up for interview is less comparing to last year. So it has been taken out of the equation.
Secondly, Someone stated that the cut is just the mark of the last selected person. Yes, that's the truth. It was also stated that if many candidates scored over 80/200 then cut off would be high. That is also true. But if many have scored over 80 or even 100, then mains cut off would have been high irrespective of the paper's difficulty. Also, I saw scores of candidates in various sites and it was in the range of 65-75 and few people with 80+ scores.
People with high scores generally publish their scores in many groups but i could see only few high scores. so the scored density would be around 60-75 which means that your interview score is the decision maker. cut off would be below 40 or 40(worst case).. Let's hope for the best..! Best wishes everyone..!
