Last year mains cut off 76. And final cut off 49.9. last year 100 was a pretty decent score so a person scoring 100 got selected by scoring only 50 in interview. 100=76+24. ( 24 is the safe addition over 76 to get to 100.)
Now this year value of 24 reduces to 16.57 with cut off being only 52.5. That means you need to get 52.5 + 16.57 to get a decent total. Considering less number of vacancies we increase the value from 16.57 to 20 to be on safer side. That means 52.5 +20=72.5 has the same value as 100 last year. Now add 10 marks of interview given interview marks are given as per the trend of last year unlike this year rrb. We can now safely reach cut off as 72.5/2.5=29+10=39. Now to be on more safer side add +.5 or +.8 at Max.
So finally cut off can't cross 39.8.
Cut off crossing 39.8 will only be possible if interview marks are given like this year rrb.
P.S. got selected in idbi last year with 50.2 marks.

High level scaling hua hai taaki low written aur high written walo koh streamline kiya jae. Pnb ke senior official ne bataya hai khabar pakki hai written ka score panel ke pas tha. Kishi ka relative panel main ho toh khud puch lo. Majority 80 plus walo koh 50 below diya gaya hai interview main. 70-80 written walo ke beech 50-55 on average rakha gaya interview score . 52.5 se 60 written score main deserving candidates koh bahut jyada high interview score diya gaya taaki woh 75-80 written walo se jyada kar sake final score

The purpose of reposting this thread is to tell u all, that dont believe on anyone who says, "U R OUT". Bcz I believe, this year every single one of us has some chance....So be hopeful till 1st April and dont go to depression and all......And yes in the meantime, it's highly recommended that u get into ur next job, i;e be it SBI prep or other exam .....keep working towards your goal.

if a person scores more than 80, means he/she has some more talent,skill, IQ....then how, u peoples say that they goin to get 40-50 in interview.....dnt bla bla that interview is diff,it depends on attitude,facial exp. interview is only depends on what u answered defintely not how u answered..
