Scored 62.50 general category with good interview... I go through almost all the posts on pagalguy whenever I remain free.. But always feel bad and sometimes like a “loser “ because I hardly get to see the low scorers like me here.. This was my THIRD consecutive interview.... Lost hope again.(I QUIT)

My cut-off analysis:Final cut-off around 38.5.Let'see how it's done.Last year ibps po was a scoring paper. The range of marks above cut off was more. This year the paper was tough. So the range of marks above cut off is less.Example getting 86 last year was easier than getting 62 this year. So if you got +10 above cut off last year you had a less chance of selection than if you get +10 above cut off this year. So we make the percentage increase above cut off to be equal in ibps po 5 and 6. 106.4 last year is equivalent to 73.5 this year which is 40% above cut off. Let x be marks in ibps 5 and y be marks in ibps 6. We form an equation in which the percentage increase above cut off in ibps 5 and 6 is made equal. In this way we get x=1.45y. Let us assume average interview score in ibps po 5 and 6 to be 13. Last year 37+13 means selection. 37 is equal to 92.5 mains marks. Putting x=92.5 in the equation above we get y=63.8. 63.8 is equivalent to 25.5 +13 interview. So we get 38.5 as cut off

Aaj se 75 plus wale nahi soo paenge aur 75 below wale chadar taan ke soenge aisha khabar hai. Ibps ne experienced panel koh full authority diya hai deserving candidates chose karne unhe written marks dikha ke. Ab interview main interview margin 18-19 se leke 8-9 out of 20 ho sakta hai agar panel koh candidates non deserving ya deserving lage. Pnb ke senior official ne bataya hai khabar pakki hai
