Chances sabke hain to get selected.... Bt ye bolna ki 65-80 wale sab same boat PE HAIN...sbke brabr chance hain is not right.. 15 marks ka difference in written means 6 xtra marks... When converted...Now to cover those 6 marks one have to score 30 xtra in interview..Hope u got it... I don't have ny pblm with low scores... Bt comparison is wrong ...A guy with 80 will always have bright chances than one with 65.
I have scored 71.5 in ibps po main in general category and expecting 55marks in interview. Have I any chance?plz someone tell me
Since everyone seems to be doing it, here's a very very simple analysis.
Last year, the cutoff was 76, and the final cutoff was 49.xx, I guess 49.6, but not sure.
This year, the written cutoff is 52.5, which is 23.5 marks lower than last year.
Considering everything else remains the same, like interview marks etc., the final cutoff is likely to go down by (23.5/200)*80, which is 9.4 out of 100.
So, in simple terms cutoff is likely to get decreased by somewhere around 9.xx marks. But, at the same time, this year, vacancies are less, so the cutoff can be a little higher (I don't wish that).
My final numbers are anywhere between 38-40, most probably 39.xx.

IDBI bank wallo dhyaan do !!! Found this useful thing regarding the joiing of IDBI.
Last year the process started in the last week of April. The process is as follows:
- Firstly, you need to undergo medical tests at the specified medical centres of the bank. (Preferably Apollo)
- Secondly, you will recieve a mail along with all the joining formalities mentioned. You will be asked to report to their training centres in the mentioned date. There are 2 training centres: SHCIL Mumbai and JNIBF Hyderabad(residential).
Last year the first batch started on 25th of May.The training period is of 2 weeks.

Don ke liye 41.8 ka prank masti lagta hoga lekin jisne 60 se kam laaya hoga aur sayad umeed ki hogi unhe gehre depression main bhejne ka kaam kr rha hai. Agar cutoff low nikli toh inke depression ka hisab don koh dena hoga
Just a thought :- Any predictions about cut off is nothing more than than beating around the bush. People here are being analyst and all without considering many facts :-
1- You can not take last year's cut off as base...this is a competitive exam and trends dont work here.
2- There are many high scorers who achieved those scores with sheer hard work and obviously they are are not roaming around on sites like these for sharing their marks and predicting cut offs.They are probably preparing for something else or sitting calm waiting for final result.
So don't fall in sentiments ignoring practicality.
Just be ready for the surprise no calculation will work, simple as that. Cut off will soar no doubt about that.
