In case of FD/ RD, Banks are giving low interest rate(around 7.5%) but Post Office is giving 8.4% .. Are both compound interest? Or is it simple interest for Post Office and compound interest for Banks ? I want to open an FD and a RD. Where should I open it--Post Office or Bank?
