Pledge : is also a type of charge on movable property... E.g.. again suppose you took loan from bank and keep gold as a security with bank... (notice here possesion is with bank I.e gold is with bank.
Hyphothecation : it is also a type of charge on movable property...but here possesion is not with bank.. E.g. again let you take loan to buy a car..you pay 10k and rest 90k on emi. (You take loan of 90k , if total price is 1lakh) ...notice here that car is with you only not with bank..and car is also as a security for bank..it called hypothecation.......next will explain reverse mortages.....
