Hi...even I have an admit at this course...and I am really excited about it.
But I also have an admit from Cass Business School for MSc Finance...and this has confused me.
Cass has London advantages, its courses are known to be more practical...actually better in ratings than Cranfield(at least in QS MBA rankings)....but the only problem is no. of students at Cass...Cass has 4-5 finance MSc courses(like investment management, mathematical trading and finance, etc), so the total no. of students studying similar courses is 500+...
As for Cranfield university, it has a top-notch reputation overall....much better than Cass...but not sure how much Cranfield's finance courses are regarded..though the course is more comprehensive and exhaustive than the one at Cass...but not being in London is a disadvantage...but the biggest plus point is that the strength of class is only 50...so that means better quality of students and better quality of education...it seems like a special and exclusive course and they don't let just anybody in like at the Cass... placing 50 students for jobs would be far easier than placing 500 students..

The kind of reactions I have got from the alumni is that its a great school and great exposure. The course is fantastic for those who have no knowledge of finance. While the only problem that they have told is that it is job hunting is a little towards the tougher side because it is the middle of nowhere.

My findings about the course(Logistics & SCM) is that it is good. I know only this much and won't be able to comment on anything else.

Hi Deepa,
I have more than 4 yrs of experience in Financial Services in the IT division and now want to move to hard core finance.
The course is good for those who have no or little knowledge of finance.
The MBA is a general management course and you can choose your electives in which you want to specialize in while MSc in finance & Management is a more specialized course with a very strong focus on finance with a few relevant subjects of management.

Congrats on your admit.. Yes we have already applied and got the accommodation.. You need to apply in the Cranfield Portal and have to fill in your choices. Do it fast so that you can get the accomm. of your choice..
