yeah.. I am basically managing with those.. guess they r okay!!! but could u get me some different cookable stuff!!
Dice one peeled potato and capsicum, and wash them. Add some peas to it. Saut oil in a pan and add a pinch of all spices. Then add the diced veggies and some peanuts. Add salt I teaspoon. Let the veggies cook for a bit add two fistfuls of vermicelli to it. Let the stuff cook for a minute or so. Add two cups of water and curry leaves. Cover the pan and let the mixture cook till it is slightly soggy but let the rest of the water evaporate and voila.
I know the instructions are crude at the very best but that is the precise way I cook it and it turns out fine everytime.
Will tell you the recipe for namkeen vermicelli ( bambino sevaiyyaan dunno I spelled it correctly though)

Noodle Salad
Ingredients:
100 gms noodles (Maggi ka half pack)
75 gms cabbage finely shredded
50 gms capsicum julienne(cut in strips)
1/2 cup boiled corn kernels
For seasoning:
1 1/2 tbsp oil (olive preferred else normal cooking oil will also do)
1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp jeera powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp chilli powder
1 1/2 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Boil the noodles with some salt and little oil in it.
TIP: Boiling noodles/pasta with a little oil does not let them stick
2. Once the noodles are done, cool them by pouring cold water over them. Drain and keep aside.
3. To prepare the seasoning. mix all the ingredients mentioned in a small container and keep it to cool in a refrigarator for atleast 30 mins.
4. In a bowl mix the noodles, cabbage, capsicum and corn.
5. Pour the seasoning over the mixture and mix well.
6. Add salt if required
you can either have this immediately or keep it to cool in the refrigerator or you can heat the entire mixture for some time ( in the case of the last one dont cool the noodles)
Bon appetite
TIP: The seasoning can be used for other salads as well....

Yes yes! Agree hands down... Books r bullshit... ghar ka khana - best khana
One of my hobbies is cooking. So I ll definitely share some of the stuff that I cook.
Basic Minimum Requirements:
----------------------------------
1. Gas connection, stove
2. A non stick frying pan (not tava)
3. 2 big stainless steel bowls (the one's in which u boil milk, wash vegetables, cook rice etc)
4. Pressure Cooker (very much desirable, but not a must have)
-----------------------------------
EGG BHURJI - very very simple, very very tasty
In the frying pan, put some oil (approx. 2 tablesp.) - once the oil is hot, add mustard, jeera, kala jeera, methi - half teaspoon
Follow it up with grated onion. Cook till the onion becomes golden in colour.
Add turmeric powder and salt (very important to add these before adding egg because salt and turmeric do not dissolve in egg)
If u want a little "khatta" taste and good colour, put one tomato - cook till u get a pasty look - do all the process above in a simmering flame - once this paste is ready, add 2-3 eggs and just scramble them - cook for abt 4 mins - and swadisht egg bhurji taiyyar.
Regds.
Billy
