I am lead engineer with reputed IT company with 8 years exp. I want to do an MBA that I can pursue with my job. I want to stay in the IT industry only since I want to make use of my experience.
Will I be able to move to business roles after the program? I don't want to become delivery manager. I want client facing role. Please guide me.
Hello all, this is a good initiative. I see some of you are product managers. I want to become a product manager. Currently I am in a full coding role with 5 years of experience.I am from NIT. I think mba will help me become product manager. The options I am looking at are IIMs part time program, IMT part time, Sunstone's program. Please guide me why you joined Sunstone?

Hi Ashwin,
Evaluating and deciding between different programs can be tricky, and very often depends on a combination of individual aspirations, financial condition and preference of pedagogy.
When I joined Sunstone I had similar options in mind. In my case, where Sunstone scored over most of the other programs was its pedagogy which is focused on self learning, assignments and increasing awareness. The faculty is much younger and uses a mentor-mentee model rather than student-teacher relationship which is prevalent in the part time programs.
Second aspect is the fee and time commitment (1 year) which is pretty affordable.
Thirdly, the student profile you will find here is typically smart tech professionals like you, looking to build a business perspective rather than just extra credentials.
Last, but not the least, the industry connect of Sunstone brings you great perspective and helps you target the right organizations for growth.
This is a part time program. Is there any faculty interaction? What are the networking opportunities because I saw most of the program runs online
Hi, My name is Sanjeev and I have 7+ years of experience primarily in infrastructure management, post sales consulting and account management. I manage a top enterprise account for my company from delivery perspective. I am looking to move into business roles. While similar programs from IIMs and other top institute remain tight-lipped about placement opportunities I found on Sunstone's website that they help in placement by creating opportunities for the students. My understanding is that such programs are primarily meant for people who have passion to learn management and not necessarily for those who are looking for a change or diversify into a different career. Could you throw some light on how those opportunities are provided? What is the industry acceptance of this course?
is it worth joining sunstone eduversity for pgdm?
