DOMS IIT Madras Leak 1: Hi all, I have spoken to a few friends who were in the graduating batch of DOMS IITM as well as a few people who are currently studying there. Over the next few posts, I will summarise all my findings and list everything I have uncovered:
1. They had a terribly bad summer placement season, the average dropped and many students remained unplaced until late in March. They have lost ties with some of their biggest recruiters (Not sure about which ones)
2. Their final placement figures tell only part of the story. There has been no increase in the average figure as compared to last year. Again, a good number of students were left unplaced after placement week. The highest package offered as mentioned in the report was an international placement.
3. There are no options available for students wishing to pursue careers in Finance, Marketing or Human Resources. Analytics is literally the only sector that recruits from them. Again, their report exaggerates this fact.
In my next leak, I will speak about their clubs, committees and also provide information about the course in general.

Why has IIM Lucknow never released it's Placement numbers and Complete list of Recruiters ? What could they be hiding ?
Is it true that the campus is ruled by their Placement team and they are more Corrupt than IIM C placereps ?
How can one join the Placement team ?

Achha doston kuch advice do...Like what happened...How bad is my profile that it's happening like this... 10th-82,12th-78,BTECH-96.2,CAT-98.23(all sectionals 95+),XAT-98.63... Got rejected from anywhere and everywhere and to top it all IIM V/Nagpur didn't even call me..Now RHOTAK and Sirmaur also rejected....The only thing I feel like doing is looking myself in the mirror and laughing...😂😂😂😂 XLRI and other top colleges' rejection can have an answer and I need to be better...But how to take rejections from Sorkar/Nagpur/Vizak and move on???😭😭😭
Total Cost including everything- Tution Fees, Mess, hostel charges, personal Expenses and Foregin exchange would be close to 30 Lakhs for two years.
Which Banks will give a loan of 30 Lakhs without Collateral ?
Or We'll get the loan for only the Fees ?
