Because the word 'could have' suggests ability, whereas the word 'would have' suggests possibility. This is the important difference between the two words. IMO.. :)

@vinayrajiv one suggestion from my side , don't put the answers in a single post. Put the questions first then we can give answers accordingly , then you can put OA !!!
Common errors with countable and uncountable nouns

There is few milk in the jug
milk-uncountable noun
There is little milk in the jug or
There is hardly any milk in the jug -correct form

No lesser than fifty huts were destroyed in the fire.
fifty huts-countable noun
No fewer than fifty huts were destroyed in the fire- correct form

Some questions which may be counted as common mistake if wrongly understood.

1. Veena compared his home-made wine ____toxic waste. ( to, by, with)
2.β€œThe teacher compared Sneh's exam______Kajal's to see whether they had cheated.” ( to, with, by )

An abstract noun can also be used as a common noun by placing a article before it.

P.S- The name of a quality,state of mind,or stage of life is called as abstact noun.
