I have submitted for ED!.

Anxiously waiting for that interview invite.. admissions411 seems to indicate that it takes them 20 days to send that interview invite!.

Not many Puys for Columbia eh?.

Its an IVY League school, its the 2nd best palce to study finace after Wharton, Its in NEW YORK..so lots to networking opportunities as mentioned by the school web site..

i contacted a student at columbia gsb and he said the entire program wud cost u $120-$150K...ofcourse, this includes tuition, stay etc etc...btw, im applygin for ED..submitting my app today!!..sadly my app falls in the indian-IT-male category with 2 yrs work-ex..

as far as the 'wht does it take to get in to CBS'??..well, considering tht they admit only 17% of applicants...i wud say- a LOT!!...they require substantial work-ex (quality+quantity) with some of it being in the intended field of mba specialisation...overall, cbs is very picky abt admitting students to their finance prog coz finance is their bread-n-butter...so best of luck to us all!!...

Hi Guys,
Columbia App suggests not to submit application before recommendations are submitted.
It seems that this takes a toll on application processing( and thus delays interview invite). I noticed a few submitting applications before recommenders.

710 is the score, 5 yrs work exp in IT been consulting in 3 continents now .. is coloumbia worth applying for with this score ..i mean do i stand a chance with this score @ columbia provided i turn in above average essays. I know its subjective and an airy question but just wanted to get the feel of what others think.

Hey people Doesnt look like a lot of people have applied to Columbia ED. Any idea why? My profile is 25yrs old / 730 GMAT / 4yrs WE Has anyone got interview calls? Saw on some othe forum , people getting calls with application that went under review around the 23rd.

I think they have already started; the BW forum says a couple of females have got an interview call. Hopefully something this week for us as well! Any of you guys applied to Stern?
