My score:
OA: 84
QA&DI;: 23
VA&LR;: 61
Dont remember the number of attempts...Individual time allocation to each section just showed how weak my QA is...VA&LR; score is 3 times that in the 1st section!!! 😲
my score-
QA+DI-26 (11C 7W) (Pathetic i know but 1st mock in a different avatar, so had no strategy for the section)
VA+LR-66 (24C 6W) ( nice)
OA-92 (35c 13w) ( no idea what to make of the score)
my 2 cents on the changed pattern after experiencing it in the mock-
if CAT will be similar to cl proc 6 pattern, then i pity people with strong verbal skills as they will encounter a lot of idle time ( i being bad at verbal submitted the section 6-7 minutes before time)
if cat will be similar to GMAT then all verbal gods, its your year to crack CAT this year.
as for me need to devise a strategy for QA+DI asap.
hi vaibsss, congrats on ur va+lr score, can u give some suggestions to improve performance in the va usage questions.Also was this procmock easier than the last one.
Gave the Proctored Mock 6 today.
QA & DI - 12 correct, 3 wrong = 33 (I found it moderate to tough. All the 15 attempts were from Quant only. Saw just one set of DI and even that required lots of calculations. Need to improve the speed in this section.)
VA & LR - 22 correct, 4 wrong = 62 (VA part was fairly easy. LR was moderate to easy. For a change it seems my accuracy was also good in VA. Usually it is around 50-70%. Hence, a good score in this.)
Overall - 34 correct, 7 wrong = 95
I think it should be a good score.
One thing though, in section I & II first 20 questions were QA & VA respectively and the last 10 DI & LR. So you could easily plan how to go ahead. But in CAT I believe the questions will be randomly put. So it would be better if CL distributed questions randomly than in an ordered manner.
Qa+Di 20 Attempts, 14 correct Score 36
VA+ Lr 30 attempts. 24 correct. score 66
Overall 50 attempts, 38 correct.. Score 102
Qa+ DI was not that tough but huge problem with time management and the questions were not that easy either..
VA+Lr was a cakewalk I guess, Expecting many 60+ scores in this section
Overall scores might be a tad lower, people will need time to adjust

couldnt even attempt DI,wasted too much time on QA,to no use..
VA+LR:66(24c-6w) i think it was easy this time...
Overall-85..
My marks in QA have been very fluctuating..either good or very bad.dnt knw why this is happening!!please feel free to impart any advice if u want to.thnks!!

My scores-
DI+QA=25(11a,9c ,2w)
VA+LR=44(20a,16c ,4w)
OA=69(31a,25c,6w)
VA was easier than usual.DI+QA was tough!
Accuracy pretty good...gotta increase number of attempts though.

In most of the cases it is becoz of few weak sections in quant.
For eg:
I am weak in geometry(mayb coz I havent covered it yet...or any other reason).
So if the paper has considerable amount of geometry questions ...say 4-5 and I score none.......so my scores can show a variation upto 15 marks....
ya i thnk u r right...i think i shud identify which sections are weak fr me and wrk on that.thanks!!
another thing which i would like to ask is,in the QA+DI section shud we start frm DI first and then move to QA??will that be a betr approach coz once i start with quants i dont tend to leav it b4 seeing all the questions..

QA+DI : 11R, 3W: 30 (found QA a bit tough)
LR+VA: 18 R, 6 W: 48 (dont think will clear the cutoff)
OA: 78
hoping around 95 % tile....
I have a query. What can be the probable ratio of QA, DI in 1st section and LR, VA in 2nd section ??

This new pattern will take some getting used to.
QA+DI - 24(10,6)
VA+LR - 61(22,5)
OA - 85(32,11)
Its strange cause I had 99 and 99.8 in QA n DiLR respectively and just 67.5 in VA in Proc Mock 5. So this new pattern will need a lot of adjustment

Gave procmock6 on sunday...
Sec 1 (QA and DI) : got 30 (11 C, 3 W)
** Was a tough one...esp. DI section was very hard.
Sec 2 (VA and LR) : got 73 (25 C, 2 W)
** Relatively easy.
OA : 103 (36 C, 5 W)
First 70 minutes.....qadi(my strong section)....with no ac, and a fan revolving just for the sake of it......and in a packed 10feetX 3 feet room...heavily sweating.....for the first time ever in my life i could just see 18 questions out of 30(60 percent in qadi)....was so pissed of that thought of ending the test in between....but after the first 70 minutes wasted a couple of minutes of the other section to make sure that the ac starts....and it was like taking revenge for what happened in the previous section...did 10 lr correctly in 16-18 minutes moved on to the varc part in which consistently i haven't been able to clear the cutoff in the earlier mocks....did the va part in 15 minutes and was left with 3 rcs in around 37-40 minutes and it was like a good oportunity to memorise the rc by heart :)
Finally ended up with
qa- 11/7 - 26 di-0/0- 0
lr-10/10- 30 😃 Va- 15/5- 40
oa- 36/12- 96....
missed out on an opportunity to turn this mock into the best of the season.....
