assuming that my answer is correct take cube of side 10.. initially the surface area is 600.. on cutting it parallel to length (or breadth or width ), we get two small cuboids..here top and bottom surfaces of the cuboid will be unchanged.. but the lateral sides gets sliced in half.. so the overall lateral area will be = 10X10/2, taken 4 times.. which is 50 X 4= 200.. overall area = 200 + 100+100 ( top and bottom)..only bottom face remains not painted.. that is 100.. so 25 %
jahan se cube cut hua hai wo faces paint nahi hain..... ek ade cube ka SA hai 2(area of large faces) + 4(area of small faces) and the area of the face which is not painted is a^2 now we can find %
A positive integer is written on each face of a cube. Each vertex is then assigned a product of the numbers written on the three faces intersecting the vertex. The sum of the numbers assigned to all the vertices is equal to 1001. Find the sum of the numbers written on the faces of the cube.
An ant starts from a point on the bottom edge of a right circular cylinder and moves in spiral manner along the curved surface area such that it reaches the top of cylinder at a point directly above the starting point in exactly 2 identical spirals. Find the distance covered by the ant if the radius of the cylinder is 6/pie and height is 20 units.
On test tube contains some acid and another test tube contains an equal quantity of water. To prepare a solution, 20 grams of the acid is poured into the second test tube. Then, twothirdsof the so-formed solution is poured from the second tube into the first. If the fluid inthe first test tube is four times that in the second, what quantity of water was taken initially?
