CFA... Chartered Financial Analyst is becoming a hot career option in finance in the present economic scenario.
It is a post graduate level program, just like MBA. A final year student or a graduate can register for CFA course. The exams are conducted by CFA Institute, USA, and it is conducted in around 130 countries around the globe, including India. There are 3 exam levels, Level 1, 2 and 3.
Good thing about this program is you can get a job even after passing Level 1!👍
It takes around 2 years to complete MBA and 2.5 years to complete CFA, all 3 Levels.
As far as Salary is concerned, according to my observation, CFA's are earning far more than a normal MBA in India. And, because jobs are available even after CFA Level 1, you do not lose the opportunity cost of 2 years, which you lose in MBA
