I have passed out from one of NIT and having more than 5 years of work exp in software company.
now, i am looking for go for MBA, but i am quite confused about going for CAT or GMAT.
So, could you please suggest me which one will be best for me?

5 years of Work experience opens up doors for Executive MBA programs (1year) for you, though you are also eligible for generic 2 year MBA program after CAT.
Both GMAT and CAT require through preparation, but still CAT is a bigger battle field than GMAT in India. Nevertheless GMAT is also picking up fast. It all depends on what you are looking out from the MBA. If you have time ( 2 year) at disposal and want to start afresh, CAT suits better, but if you are looking out for fast paced/intense program where your peers are also having similar and more industry experience with lateral placements GMAT is a better fit.
All the premier B schools accept GMAT score for Executive program and you would be able to leverage your work experience for better returns.

m in my 4th yr of b tech (mechanical branch) and got placed in TCS. As i dont have any intrest in mechanical, i found computer software,programming intrested and want to build my career in IT world. i want to pursue master degree too as only bachelor wont let my career go to much height. for master i prefer doing MBA. but i am really confuse to give CAT or GMAT? do MBA without work exp or after working in TCS for 2 yr?? its my peak time to select certain path which would set my career.
PLZ suggested smthing guyz,i really want to sort out things better..
as recently i read about MBA in IT and in SYSTEM.plz explore this option also for me for doing MBA in certain fields as i ave very low knowledge about various options in MBA which have good future in it..

Can someone please throw some light on the difference between CAT & GMAT ?
Hii, I did my bachelor's from IIT Dhanbad & passed out in 2014. I got placed on campus & working in a psu since then. My work experience till date is 4 years 6 months. I want to give cat this year. Will this work experience be a hindrance? Should I go ahead? Can u please suggest which will be more beneficial 2 year MBA or executive MBA?
