Can one change the interview city for IIM interviews when the calls will be made after results? I have filled a particular location in my CAT form but now I have moved to some other city.....
Ever wondered, why do coaching institutes give an optimistic prediction of percentile (or a lower estimate of cut-offs etc.)? Here is the truth: 1. The coaching teachers as well as the managers hate it when you cry in front of them. More than anything, it irritates them. 2. The coaching which predicts best for the students, is most talked about. It's simply because there is a large number of students in the middle range. So, it's an advertising strategy. 3. The coachings know it very well that all these predictions are forgotten within few days of actual results. 4. Negative predictions make you use slangs against the predictor, no matter who. This becomes especially true if the prediction turns out to be wrong. And you remember it for long. Vice-versa isn't true. 5. When you are given an optimistic prediction, you are more likely to take another attempt if you fail. It's plain psychology.
Will a raw score of 33 in VA/RC in slot 1 cross 70% sectional?

Have a score of 33/30/33 in VA/DI/Quant and an NC-OBC reservation. Can i expect a call from iimk? As per all predictors DI, Quant and Overall have 85+ percentiles.

Hello Everyone, Need Suggestions on a serious note. I have completed my graduation in the year 2013. After that I didn't get any jobs for 2 and a half years and finally was selected as a bank po in one of the PSBs.After completing work experience of 27 months i resigned from the job and started preparing for CAT from october this year because i had always in mind to get into mind some good management colleges.Now that CAT is over and i am expecting percentile in the range of 92-94 percentile. What good colleges can I get into and How can i justify such a huge gap during interviews.Will it create a lot of problems during placements?Am specifically targeting Great Lakes PGPM. My acads are as follows: 10th- 80 ,12th-70, Graduation-60.Work ek - 27 months (PSB).Need honest suggestions please.
