WAT: Are we over using social media?

P1: Tell us what about yourself
Me: Told. Also said about interest in renewables.
P2: What steps have been taken by India to increase use of solar energy?
Me: Told them about ISA, subsidies on solar installations, recent hike in import duty for panels imported from China, how it is detrimental to proliferation of solar power, current production capacity, target capacity and how it is unrealistic. Also told about re classification of wind energy as renewable energy.
P2: What kind of place you need for wind energy generation?
Me: told
P2: Tell me 2 things about vellore?
Me: told about leather industry, 37pc of total production and 10pc of export volume, 2nd was about CMC, huge hub for medical tourism.
P1: Tell me about RO?
Me : told
P2: Where this might be used?
Me: Gulf countries for de salination of sea water. Told them about recent water technology deal signed with Israel.
P1: Why do you think Israel is a pioneer in hydro tech, atleast make a guess?
Me: after thinking for a while, Hostile relations with neighbours and so it cannot get fair water agreements so it developed the water tech to fulfill the needs from de salining water from Mediterranean Sea.
P2: smirks and laughs. Anything else?
Me: no sir, (manage to break a weak smile.)

He asked looking at the logo, what animals are there in the national emblem of India?
Me: an ox is there...

P1: it's habitat?
Me: deciduous and rain forests in MP, WB, Uttarakhand. Gave a few niche details about habitat and how nagpur is the tiger capital of the country because of proximity to most tiger reserves in MP, Maharashtra.
P2:Which water body seperates England and France?
Me: British channel???
P1: is it not English channel?
Me: yes sir, sorry, went on to explain a historical fact about the significance of it.
P1: okay, we're done. Any questions?

Was asked basic hr questions like why mba, hobbies and all in between.
