what does cat 15/16 people who had 99+ think slot 2 paper was like . First attempt wale to sb bina hawa k baate kr re ki slot 2 halwa tha. Ap sab logo bta doge to would be a big relief . Worried after seeing so many people posting 200+ in slot 2. Agar really itna easy tha slot 2 then would start preparing for next cat.

A question to CAT veterans! (This may seem off the topic but quite genuine for me) I'm new to this MBA entrance world. I graduated in 2014 and have 14 months of work experience in oil and gas sector. I quit my job in end of 2015 for civil service preparation. Now, I have two unsuccessful attempts at UPSC and one successful attempt at state PSC. I gave mains of state PCS in September last year. I have attempted almost all MBA exams last year and yet to give two in this month. P.S. Acads - 10th = 89.54, 12th = 85.40 and CPI = 7.26 Questions 1. Will the academic gap of 2.5 years be an obstacle for conversion? 2. How should I tackle this? Hoping for positive response, TIA.

Slot 1 vs Slot 2
VA- slot 2 was more difficult by a thin margin so (+2 for slot 2)
DILR-slot 1 was more difficult by one easy set (+10 for slot 1)
QA- almost same level difficulty
so slot2 + 8 = slot1
Percentile:
cat 15 had 99 at 180(scaled) so cat 17 would be 168-172(scaled)
so slot 1 154 and for slot 2 162 marks can be assumed for approx 99 percentile.
For those who think that slot2 was easy: Let me tell you all that slot2 ws tricky both in VA and LR. Though the sets and RC's were doable but were tricky hence time consuming And There is a huge chance that slot1 would suffer negatively in scaling. Quant WS same in both the slots. So for those who are worrying about percentile, can relax ,as overall CAT 2017 ws balanced.
If someone is doing 1yr Internship (Paid one) and then plans to appear for Cat 2018 , will it it counted as Work Ex?
slot 1 and 2 are incomparable, even looking after the papers post exam is all in vain, the stress level due to time and prudence is unimaginable while a test like cat , so nothing can be said. Moreover, its all about individual performance
Around 200,000 students took cat exams, Objections will be raised by only one out of the 10 students expecting 90 percentile and above and some coaching institutions:- Which effectively means total objections will be at most only 2500. And I don't think reviewing 2500 objections having a panel of only 20 teachers is a big task, it can be easily completed in a day or 2 considering most of the objections are repeated. So, the sources who are speculating a delay due to a review of all objections by the Lucknow team, in my consideration, don't have a strong foundation. Results will be published in Jan 2nd week only
