Dear friends , i would like your opinion on this one :- I am currently working in public sector bank as assistant manager. I am 26 year old and 1.5 year work ex. I am expecting score around 93-94 %ile. Not much of a profile for iim. Should i target top 20 b schools and give cat again or join any b school in the range. And i am science grad. Cat - general

I have written percentage of marks in every college i applied to instead of the cgpa mentioned in the marksheet because it is way too low when compared with (actual marks obtained/total marks) and due to the insane grading system
CGPA Overall is 5.78 and percentage is 65.12
Below are the marks i have obtained with the mentioned SGPA and Percentages

Sem 1 - 794/1400 SGPA-5.67 PER-56.71(THIS IS ANOMALY)
Sem 2 - 661/1100 SGPA-5.81 PER-60.09
Second Year
Sem 3 - 848/1400 SGPA-5.36 PER-60.57
Sem 4 - 792/1300 SGPA-5.58 PER-60.92
Third Year
Sem 5 - 1062/1500 SGPA-5.83 PER-70.8
Sem 6 - 869/1300 SGPA-5.92 PER-66.84
Fourth Year
Sem 7 - 993/1300 SGPA-6.38 PER-76.38
Sem 8 - 623/900 SGPA-5.67 PER-69.22
total marks obtained/maximum marks =6642/10200=65.12
I just want to know will this create problem during interviews and B school final selection??
PS- As per my college statement at the back of the marksheet " Conversion from CGPA to percentage of marks do not have rigor or rationale(****** log saale!!). However, an approximate and indicative equivalence between CGPA and percentage of marks can be assessed by multiplying CGPA by 10"
Hello puys, I wish to know what topics of quant are must to be better at for acing the quant section in XAT. DI in xat is very weird and time consuming. How to study and what to prepare for it apart from old papers. TIA😊
Guys, I inadvertently wrote my CGPA of 9.4 * 10 = 94% as my percentage for class 10th. I was unaware about the multiplying factor of 9.5 at that time.
I contacted the CathelpDesk, but they are saying that recitification is possible only during the correction window.
Feeling helpless, What to do now ?
What's the best test-series for XAT in market? Don't wan't to write a mock with previous year questions with changed wordings. Chori minimum ho jismein I mean. Is IMS good for it? Rs 1000 worth it?

Well, Coming here after CAT, I only see people (toppers) fighting with/for predictions.
My simple calculation tells me that there will be atleast 400 people who will score 99.8+ and I feel there is enough room there for all the mock toppers. ( TOP 100/150 of IMS, TIME who performed reasonably well in CAT).
so dont worry lot of you(us :p) will score 99.8+ .

A small doubt ! While shortlisting for interviews/GD/Writing, colleges take in consideration GRADUATION MARKS. Take into account : Engineering. Now there are huge number of colleges (varying from IIT to local eng colleges). It is easier to score 9 CG in local college than in an IIT. So is anyone aware if there is any criteria followed where college is taken into consideration ? Thanks in advance.
